I knew something was missing from the new board! I've missed these!

After heavy internal debate between Pencil and Shopping Bag, Umbrella made a surprise victory.

Lightbulb. In these dark winter days, more light is a good thing.

I want a sunlamp.

I voted for shopping bag, for reasons I cannot discern. Because the moment I selected it, I realized it was most likely my last choice. I was jaded by the thought of shopping!

Makeouts.
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet him, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

I refuse to vote on the basis that all of these candidates are funded by special interest groups.

I find this thread to be fascinating. As one would expect for a relatively random sample, we have a fairly even distribution of votes amongst options.

Avg = 3.7
Med = 3
StDev = 1.4 (a small spread)

Am I the only nerd that thought about that?

I had to go with straw. Only three of those things are fun to chew on, and straw is the best of them.

if we're talking about things chewed on, I still take pencil. I've mutilated entire populations of pencils and pens from chewing.

Straws too, come to think of it. :-P
