I don't remember specifically. If anyone does, I'd like to know.
Um.
It was during that first banning of Otaku. Like, the 1 month ban? Or something?
That's all I remember.
I think it was in 2001, though.

I found it! I know you all want to know how...heh.
See, it was harder since it was at pweb 1.0. But I remembered that IdemosthenesI (one of the original mods, for those of you who don't know) had written a thread called "My P-web: A Retrospective" at pweb 2.0 that talked about how it all got started, included the date that it was launched. So, from the tip that Starlooker gave about doing a search for cached threads, I found that thread and found the launch date of June 30, 2000 and then was able to figure my initial join date!
July 2, 2000! yay!

wow, i haven't been able to find my original join date. i found my first post under the name "v-girl," but i joined under a different name and posted under that for several months before that. i changed names because my first name was close to someone else's and because i actually started posting at that point.
"v-girl"'s first post was march 23, 2001. but i know i joined late in the previous year......

Massive bump, I know and apologies all around but can anyone who did not post in this thread let me know their Pweb join year? No worries about on the multiple versions, just the first time you joined any of the three. If you want to add month or day and you know, that's fine but I'm just looking for the year.
Also, for those who trust me with the information, addresses would be appreciated if I don't have it or an up-to-date one.

Let's see... I'm pretty sure I originally joined during the same month that you did, May 2003. I'm just not sure about the day.

Geeze, that's crazy.
BIG HUGE EDIT:
TWINNY! I totally just realized what day I joined on and it's completely floored me that I haven't connected this yet! Geeze, way to go brain!

I always thought I had joined sometime in late 2001, but it was apparently more like early 2002. Never posted here much, as I'm constantly saying, until FrescoPix went down, but man, looking at some of these old threads is giving me crazy nostalgia.
I was able to track down the approximate date by browsing through Wayback machine for a post by my best friend at the time, ferret_guy. I got him to read Ender's Game and did my best to direct him to Fresco, but darn you guys, you attracted him more. If you remember him, you are officially an oldie. Remember the Jedi Alliance? The Order of the Ferret? All of the old organizations. Wooh, bringing me back.
...
While I was writing this I found an old post by me. Apparently my join date was April 2, 2002. This is embarrassing. I used to be one of those kids that always wrote a new signature, and my avatar was a poorly scaled-down image from the Zelda game that eventually turned into Windwaker.

Not since, like, 2004. He's on a mission in Russia, now, but he should be back in the States sometime by April. Maybe I can talk him into visiting.F_G FTW! Man it seems he has been gone for forever now.I was able to track down the approximate date by browsing through Wayback machine for a post by my best friend at the time, ferret_guy.

Yes, do try. I remember seeing the name though I admit, it could be from playing in Wayback but I was here in 2003, so I might also have seen him actually posting.Maybe I can talk him into visiting.

I know I've missed some, especially for a lot of the newbies. The ones from the FreeRice and below are the only ones I've added since 2008 so I am quite far behind. Filling me in on this would also be appreciated.

Hmm...The oldest one I can find is November 23, 2001. But that was after the crash. I was definitely on the first board before the crash, but can't find my date. Actually, I'm not even sure what my username was. I really forgot that I had a different name on 2.0. And it was something different from that one on the first board. *shrugs*

There's no way you were after me, unless I'm screwing up what names people changed to/from again.Mine was somewhere after yours a few days/weeks?I finally looked it up on wayback: February 25, 2002. I just passed my 8th anniversary on pweb.
Also, looking at old threads on wayback is crazy.

It was the first couple days of Feb for me, though I am suddenly doubting the date I was sure I joined. Any way you cut it, I missed my 8-year pwebversary. Cheers, all!
