Spider-man 3 Trailer!

Postby neo-dragon » Sat Nov 11, 2006 11:35 pm

Because there's no SM3 thread on this fancy new Pweb, I had to make one just for this. Anyway...

Other than the whole new spin on Ben Parker's killer, which made me go on a mini-rant that I choose not to repeat, this movie looks soooooo cool! I can't wait!! :D

*edit*
better version

I am also pissed about the thing with Ben's killer... Was it supposed to be some sort of coincidence that that other guy was driving Ben's car in the first movie???

Also not nuts about their choice for Venom. Topher Grace is far too little for the role. He would have been a better choice for Carnage.

I wish that they decided to make Harry into Hobgoblin instead of Green Goblin, because it would be nice to see a different villain.

I am also not nuts about them bringing Gwen Stacy into it.

I think it will look a better in the final version. I remember the CGI in the first trailers I saw for SM2 on the net looked about the same, but the actual film looked better.

Oh, here's a better link:

I loved it... I loved both Spiderman and Spiderman 2, but this really seems like it's raised the bar even more. To me, this franchise is THE pinnacle of the comic-to-screen adaptations. X-men was close until, well, Brett Ratner...

If there's anyone interested, here is another trailer... It's not done, it has some visuals that aren't nearly close to being done, some green screen action, but at the very end, we get to see VENOM!!!

I hated part one and liked part two well enough
I was the exact same.

Meh, I think Spiderman 2 was either equal to or slightly worse than the X-Men movies, but neither of them where the pinnacle of anything.

Batman Begins is without a doubt the best comic book adaption.

EDIT: I should mention that my feelings towards the Spiderman movies (especially the first one) may possibly have to do with how much I dislike Kirsten Dunst.

I have to ardently agree with that - Spiderman greatly surpasses all the other comic stuff out there. The trailer looks so good! I can't wait! Only May!

ow, pretty.

Just got around to watching the trailer. nice. I cant wait.

But i agree that the kid from that 70s show is a bet small to play brak (sp?) and i dont like how they changed how his uncle died... but what ever, im sure it will be as good as the last 2...

I do agree with you to a certain extent... Spiderman is by far the best series (or whatever you want to call it), and while Batman Begins was a tremendous success I do have problems with it; little problems, but problems nonetheless.

i'm thinking that they're just leading with the uncle killer change to piss people off and get them to see the movie. and like at the end of the movie, you'll find out that the original killer was the actual killer and they just lied to spidey to get him to take on the sandman. or whatever.

here's hoping anyway.

It's such a big continuity error that someone HAD to have noticed it. There has to be more to it. There just HAS to be!

I also think (hope) that it will turn out that Sandman isn't the real killer after all, but it can't be a deliberate trick since no one knows that Peter is spider-man.
