Happy belated to Maggie. :) Were those little cakes on a stick in her FB photos?

And Jason, her birthday may be close to yours but I'm pretty sure her birthday is the exact same as Nomi's.

Yes! They were cake pops, which are all the rage these days, apparently. My original plan for a cake (layers iced to look like blocks) went to hell when the cakes totally fell apart, so I discovered that you can just mush cake into balls, stick in a stick and they become super delicious. Not quite as pretty as I imagined, but seriously tasty (and really, that's all that counts).

Yup! I'm officially an adult in all ways except being able to rent a car without exorbitant insurance fees.
I used to hate gravity because it would not let me fly. Now I realize it is gravity that lets me stand.
