Shiny Shininess!
Oh, you guys, this is just sad how fast the shiny wore off and how slow it is again. You can do better. Here are some tips on how to be a post-whore, from a professional.
1) Pace yourself - Just like with running, if you don't want to wear yourself out prematurely or risk injury, it's recommended you only add 10% on to your base abilities. Translating that to posting, if you are only used to doing one post a day, do that one post and then post 1/10 of a sentence somewhere else until you build up to more than one whole posts.
2) Be rude - think to yourself, "It's totally none of my business but I have to know anyway..." and then post accordingly. "Hey Wil, it's totally none of my business that you do things when you're all alone but pray tell, how many times do you do them?!"
3) Overshare - Tell more than you might a complete stranger but exercise some caution (I guess, if you have to) so crazy stalker people can't find you and cause you bodily harm.
4) Grow to love the look of your name all over the place - kind of self-explanatory.
5) Make it a game - I will win, life I guess, if I can do 300 posts in 5 minutes.
So now you know my secrets to getting 4000+ on this version of Pweb. Go forth and multiply (your posts).
Oh, if you needed another reminder: SHINY SHININESS*!
*How in the hey do you spell shininess and is it even a word?

1. I love this post.
2. I am doing my part. I've increased my posting by more than 10%. Though, what is 10% of almost nothing?
3. The shiny...it's beautiful.

Only if you all train properly. You know, keep hydrated, stretch, work out so your fingers don't cramp. Post-whoring is not to be taken lightly. It's a learned skill.

I am ALL OVER #3. Could I spill my guts any more?
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Yeah, it seems inappropriate to switch it back when I'm trying to make a comeback. I'm just whining.

I'm pretty sure the board is slowing down because we're all in the shiny new chat get drunk while we talk about food and sex.

Ladies, ladies, calm down: there are more than enough posts to go around. You don't all need to take up the first page of this thread by yourselves.

Yeah, I think I have number 3 down. My detailed state-of-the-cervix post, even with spoiler tags, should have solidified my qualifications if they hadn't been already.
I wonder how many times I actually post in a day? I mean, in the past month, not in the past ever, which is what the statistics give you.

Also, lurking is almost like post whoring, except for all of the ways in which it is completely different.

Re: Shiny Shininess!
Okay. Generally, I post between 4-7 times per day, usually six, not counting the three days of newness, in which my post counts were over 20 (and, on day one, around 38).

Re: Shiny Shininess!
Surely the trick for professional post-whoring is to craft a perfect, generic post that you copy and paste into any thread whilst still making it seem relevant. Admittedly, this is trickier on PWeb than other forums that are more focused on a particular topic and less on grammar and coherence.
Although just posting the below a quote of the previous post might do it.
