turntabling

Postby Wind Swept » Mon Sep 26, 2011 8:49 am

turntable.fm is pretty much the coolest thing ever.

I will be chilling in this room for much of the day.

You should all come hang out.

We're very sorry, but while we would love to let you in and rock out with us, we need to currently restrict turntable access to only the United States due to licensing constraints.

We are working very hard to try and get you in as soon as possible.

If you believe this is a mistake and you are located in the United States, please e-mail help [at sign] turntable dot fm

Again, sorry, and we hope to see you soon.

One way to settle it...

Does Canada have Netflix and Jack 'n the Box?

Upstate NY doesn't even have Jack in the Box. Or 7-11. Or national health care. I want to go to Canada. :P

We have Netflix.

We also have people who aren't too stubborn to accept the metric system.

I discovered Britain also has Netflix a few days ago. On a related note, I am now in danger of failing my degree.

If any of you actually have access to the cool parts of the Internet, the tables are turning, again.

Does Canada have Netflix and Jack 'n the Box?
You do realize that there are no Jack in the Boxes in Chicago, right?

Also, Canuckistan isn't all that bad. It's the Newfie's you've got to look out for.

On a semi-related note, I wanted to see who coined the term Canuckistan and found what could be my favorite Wikipedia article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Canadianism" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"for most Americans, Canada is sort of like a case of latent arthritis. We really don't think about it, unless it acts up." Now *that's* comedy.

Yeah, but unlike Canada, it has Chicago to make up for that deficiency. *grin*

I'd say we need more Canadians here, but I guess quality beats quantity.

Hey, I'd love to be an honorary Canadian. I really don't see (m)any drawbacks to it. Who needs Dunkin' Donuts when you have Tim Hortons?
