Re: Faster than Light?
There's another home somewhere,
There's another glimpse of sky...
There's another way to lean
into the wind, unafraid.
There's another life out there...

Now to find a way to convert ourselves into neutrinos for transport.

If they only did it once (which is how I'm reading the article) then I am taking this with an entire shaker of salt.

Re: Faster than Light?
That's really something if it is as it appears. Just the theoretical implications of something being able to travel faster than light are crazy. I mean, I'm no physicist, but it seems to me like everything we know about time and space is based on the light speed limit.

I'm under the impression it happened more than once in that time.A total of 15,000 beams of neutrinos -- tiny particles that pervade the cosmos -- were fired over a period of 3 years from CERN toward Gran Sasso 730 (500 miles) km away, where they were picked up by giant detectors.

Re: Faster than Light?
They should just increase the speed of light every time something breaks it.

Great idea!

Re: Faster than Light?
I like how one of my friends dad works at CERN and no one has asked him about this at all, when my friend who works at Facebook has like, personal attacks on his wall.

So don't go worrying about me
It's not like I think about you constantly
So maybe I do, but that shouldn't affect
Your life anymore
