I've been thinking a lot lately about how it used to seem possible that sexism would just end. This is a memory of those optimistic days.

I had no idea that "Free to Be: You and Me" was even about sexism when I was little. When I finally was in college and downloaded the album, as I was riding on the waves of nostalgia to Alan Alda's voice, my mind was blown.

I honestly can't recall if I've ever even heard this song before; I don't recognize it at all. Very nice and the flower in your hair was a nice touch. :)

Well, I can't very well ignore a request from an adoring fan, can I? Haha. However, in an effort to avoid incurring the wrath of any possible copyright/publisher gurus who may eventually be annoyed if I post the lyrics online, I will email the lyrics to "Arrgh! Avast!
