Thanks for the link, Kelly! She has the most adorable expressions, and I love the one at the conservatory where she looks like she saying "You wanna go?" And don't worry, I also take only about a million pictures, often in rapid succession. I always feel a little amused when I buffer the tumblr and there's like a week of posts where she's wearing the exact same outfit.

It's due 22 May. But as the other one was six weeks early, we're taking that with a brick of salt.

And since you said "it" I'm guessing you either don't know the sex or aren't revealing it?

What a beautiful story! I love, love, LOVE the relationship that you and David have. And I am so very happy for you that you didn't need pitocin!

Well, I'm at 31 weeks and some-odd days, and I appear to be healthier (pre-eclampsia-wise) than last time. This is good. I'm still hella anxious, but maybe even a little optimistic at the same time. Unfortunately, this baby brontosaurus has borked my pelvis and I'm walking around on crutches, when I go out at all. I don't like having my movement so severely restricted, but without a car, whatcha gonna do? Baby's doing well, so here's hoping?
A dinosaur in a grocery store is not a very pleasant thing!
He marches through the checkout aisles and tramples over everything.
He puts his snoot into the fruit;
his tail wipes out displays.
I'll tell you just what I've observed --
A grocery store is not a place for dinosaurs to play.

Wow, I didn't know borking a pelvis was a possible pregnancy symptom. Is there an actual medical terminology for this? Very curious. And I'm sorry you are having to deal with this but glad the baby is healthy and eclampsia is so far not an issue!

I think the technical term is symphysis pubis dysfunction, and it's connected to the generally looser joints you get, but localised and painful.

Rebekkah Rowan Spyker (nickname: Rivka or Riv) was born 20 May, 8:25am, weighing 7lb 15.5oz. I am well, she is well, and we're home and settling in some.

It's going to be quite a while before I can write a coherent birth story, but if you birth story junkies absolutely need your fix, I'm happy to chat some. It was just a very emotional experience (in mostly very good ways), and it's going to be a while processing it.

I went to the dr today and had my IUD removed and a pre conception consultation.

Hopefully I'll be posting in here under my real name soon with news of tiny humans. :)

Remember me? Life had been crazy since I was here last, but I've been thinking about all of my friends here for some time. So I wanted to share the news that I'm going to be a daddy for really reals in like 10 weeks!

Got married may 4th last year - yes my nerd influence is that strong - but unfortunately my mom died the week before the wedding. Anyway, I now have two wonderful step kids, a wife that will be a doctor in just a few weeks, and as I said I'll be a new daddy shortly after. Life is awesome. I'll post pictures sometime soon.

id like to make am effort to come around, but we all know how that goes, so hopefully I'll be back soon.
