jokes of his own
That would assume any 'jokes' are actually original. They aren't. We all regurgitate the subconscious garbage we collect over time, rearranged or not. Originality is far too rare to ever be found here, 4chan, or anywhere else on the internet for that matter.
you talked normally for the rest
That would assume that I was 'talking' and not typing, and that this kind of communication is 'normal', when it's clearly far beyond or outside anything that human beings are normally physiologically/psychologically wired for.

Also, further negative bonus points for implying that here is somehow better (or even that much different) from other asscracks of the internet, or that image macros aren't just as valid a form of regurgitation as what we're doing right now.

Pic related.

First of all, talk (and listen for that matter) has more than one definition.

Secondly, Jesus you're depressing when you're not acting like 4chan's poster child.

Thirdly, I guess you're right, absolute originality doesn't exist, that's kind of interesting, I suppose. However, there are degrees of originality, and purposefully repeating and reposting internet memes as a replacement for having to think up your own responses features pretty low on that scale.

Finally, there's nothing wrong with 4chan, it's a funny place with funny people, I was just mocking you cause you seemed a tad bit obsessed with the place from your posts in this thread.

No, that's just the aura produced by the wasteland we're in. I've never been happier. Stop projecting.

And admit it. This was the only nearly interesting thing you've seen/communication you've engaged in here in months.

I went to a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich cart today, unironically.

In fact, despite living in Portland, I go to most of its places and do most of its things unironically.

We worked it out last night, and including meeting each other, between us Rei and I have met 26 people from the internets. 13 from pweb, 12 from Hatrack, and 1 from Sheroes. There's some who count as pweb and hatrack, or pweb and sheroes, but we only counted them once.

Attempted the Atomic Reaper ghost pepper 10 wing challenge at America's Bar and Grill. Involuntarily threw up while shoving in the 9th wing. My coworkers paid for the wings and kept up their end of the bet that I couldn't eat more than 7. Seriously yakked my guts out when I got home.

Daaang, those'd be some hot wings. Actually hot wings at that! We have a jar of naga pickle and we're just still figuring out how much to add or not add to avoid making things quite that spicy but still have flavour. We've been measuring in increments of roughly two drops.

Respect, man. I have a pretty high tolerance for spice, and I often laugh at dudes and their "suicide wings". But I know naga, and that's legitimately hot.

So add another 100 life points for earning the respect of EL.

One month one week later, heard back from one of the places I submitted a resume to. A game development company, no less! They asked me to do a java programming test, and depending on how well I did on it, they would ask me to come in for an interview. Woman that called me today seemed impressed with my resume and by how much work I've done outside of classes. :D
