Congrats again, Kim.
I love the one with the hydrangea in the background. I love hydrangea - they were in my wedding bouquet!

In German tradition, both men and women wear a ring on their left hand while they're engaged, then transfer it to their right hand when they get married.Actually, I don't even know if a guy traditionally wears an engagement ring.

I'd heard that and wondered about it some. I could not transfer my engagement ring to my right hand without resizing it. My right knuckle is way bigger than my left. Do most people in the world wear the same ring size on both hands or do they all just get it resized pre-wedding?In German tradition, both men and women wear a ring on their left hand while they're engaged, then transfer it to their right hand when they get married.

Nate sized my engagement ring by swiping the ring I wear on my right hand every day and sizing it to one of his knuckles (stops at knuckle on pinkie of right hand) and took that idea to the store. The lady there told him to go a half size down... and it fits perfectly!
(though, I can switch the 2 around on my ring fingers without problem... but, maybe my hands are weird.)

Mine are the same size too, at least I think. I wear my claddagh ring on my right hand for now, and when I switch it to my left it only feels a little tight, but I feel like if I go any bigger at all, it would be too loose.(though, I can switch the 2 around on my ring fingers without problem... but, maybe my hands are weird.)

My ring fingers are probably less than a half size different. I can swap hands, but rings are a little looser on my left.

went to yosemite, most of y'll have probably already seen these on facebook, but a few turned out okay. I haven't fixed them yet in photoshop, so they still look pretty rough.
Yosemite is hands down the most incredible place I've ever been to in my life, pictures don't begin to do it justice. The trees are like Ents, the Mountains are enormous (and RIGHT THERE on top of you). Just a tremendous experience. can I go back and like spend two weeks?

Giant cyborg bears.Update: It's an awesome looking, though ugly, scar. I'll just say it was from my fight with a bear.

I found this, and I was massively surprised, and I felt like sharing.
Here is a picture of me from January of 2009, somewhere around my largest weight of ~240:
(Click to Embiggen the Fat)
And here is a picture of me from exactly two months ago (July 4th 2010) where I weighed ~200:
I'm actually down to ~190 now, if I am to believe the scale. But, damn, I can't believe that difference. The progress has been so slow that I didn't even really notice.

I only recognise the third pic, but kudos for having a different costume for each day (I'm presuming)! I keep wanting to Get Rei to go to one as Ed Elric, but we haven't had the chance yet.

Well, technically, the first pic was from Saturday night, the second from Friday and the third from Saturday afternoon. We had three costumes, we just wore our main characters on Saturday, so I was Ed and Phen was Natsu, the guy with pink hair. I don't have a good picture of Phen on Sunday, when he was dressed as Winry from FMAI only recognise the third pic, but kudos for having a different costume for each day (I'm presuming)! Alea, I'm glad you like my corset! I got it a couple years ago at the ren faire, and I keep looking for other costumes to use it with. I think it worked well! I'm kinda disappointed with my gloves, though, the right one's snap broke halfway through the night
Step one, take off your shirt. Step two ... Step three, PROFIT!

Speaking of, I met up with Ed and Meagan/Megxers this weekend. I have photographic evidence for both but only have permission to share one, so here it is.
My camera was either as tired as I am or the light was low and I moved...one of those things.
