Hi all,
We've been honeymooning at home. Until today, haven't been able to afford to reconnect the Internet, but that's not necessarily been a bad thing.
I don't have the pictures from the professional, yet, but here are some that friends and family took. Note: if you have me friended on facebook, you've likely seen at least some of these.
Here's a picture a friend took of me getting ready right before I got dressed. I kind of love it:
After I was dressed, we went to the park where D and I had our first date. This is where we first saw each other that day. It was just the photographer, the two of us, the best man and maid of honor. D took a couple of pictures of me on his phone while the photographer was taking pictures.
Back to the church, then, where the photographer took a few pictures.
And then things got started.
Daddy and I went down the aisle -- apparently I looked a lot more ready for it than he did.
And then we held hands and listened to the pastor welcome people.
We got to turn around to listen to the sermon.
And then it was time to say our vows.
And light the unity candle while my brother sang.
We picked up roses to take to our mothers.
First my mother...
and then his.
Finally, we got to kiss.
Then a recieving line, which required me to get bustled up.
Finally, PARTY!
Hope this satisfies to some degree. Will post more memories from the day (sans pics) after I get more used to typing with these acrylic nail tips.

Wow, Kirsten. While the first (of you getting ready) and the lighting of the unity candle stand out as favorites, my absolute favorite is the very last one. You look so happy. And beautiful, of course.
When you get around to the post with some memories, I would never in a million years object to more pictures.

Thanks, all
I love all three you mentioned, Alea. My personal favorite, though, is the one where I'm hugging my mother -- lots of emotion going on there. I had tears streaming down my face the whole time we were giving roses. They started right after the vows and ring exchange, calmed a bit when we were lighting the candle, and then started in earnest when we picked up the roses.

Kirsten! It just occurred to me that I have kept my thoughts about how gorgeous you look in your wedding photos to myself! (it is scary how often this happens. I frequently think I've posted, when in fact I haven't).
Needless to say, you look lovely, and happy, and the photos capture how heartfelt and beautiful I'm sure the day was. Congratualtions again!

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

eep! I did that too! Sometimes I just have a conversation with pweb threads in my head and I forget none of it ever gets typed or posted.Kirsten! Looks like a fantastic wedding. I love the final picture.

I do this all day long, to a scary degree. When I get home, about half of those make it into Notepad, where I wait on them from anywhere between a few hours to a few days to decide if I'm going to post them. I'd say about an eighth of those make it. The vast majority of the posts that do make it are impulse posts where I just can't help it.Sometimes I just have a conversation with pweb threads in my head
Like this one.
Though, that may be the point...
Right.

some of the pics!
...which means we get more, right? *hopeful*
Those were great. I think my favorite out of that batch was the close up of the two of you dancing, heads pressed against each other.
I'd love to go into detail on more that I loved but I can't see any easy way to identify them (outside of descriptions). I may come back in later, when I've got more time.

Awww, thanks, guys. I'm so in love with these pictures. It's taking everything in me not to just stare at them instead of work.
I love the park pictures so much. I mean, she's totally right, it was such an emotional shift there. The pictures of me looking in the mirror -- supposedly admiring myself, but you can tell I'm criticizing myself and worried -- are such a contrast to the emotion in the park pictures. It was one of the happiest times of the day, just the two of us -- best man, maid of honor, and photographer were there, too, but in those pictures, I swear, it was just the two of us. The two side by side pictures of Donny in the park make me laugh -- one is with him standing with his back turned, waiting for me to give him the okay, and the one on the right with him open mouthed and happy is right when he first saw me. I really love the one where our foreheads aren't pressed together, but mine is kind of up against the side of his head. It's our affectionate symbol -- we started bumping each other with our foreheads the way our cats bump us, so that's why there's so much forehead touching. It's like little kisses.
I also love my ring bearer looking so serious while his daddy fixes his tie and I love the two of us coming down the aisle looking so joyful.
I cannot wait till the proofs are ready. As to whether there will be more, Alea, that remains to be seen with copyright issues and whatnot. But this little sampler makes me happy.

You look so happy! It looks like such a wonderful day. Congratulations again! Your ring bearer does look very intense. And adorable. I love the colors and the pictures and the happy faces! Squee!

Kirsten, you looks so, so lovely. The joy just beams out from those pictures! And, well, Don looks so very much like my dad, in all the good ways. It gives me warm fuzzies.

But it would be funny! Now on the activity schedule for Real Pwebcon!
