A Day In The Life Of Wil

My day starts out very simply, and very plainly: A nice big bowl of oatmeal!
Image

After eating and showering, I then got in my car and started driving to school!
Image

To prove it is me driving: artistic picture using the rear view mirror while at a stop light!
Image

I have no idea who this Dr. Peebles guy is, but he has a nice computer lab named after him!
Image

This is me using the macs in said computer lab! I use the macs because the screens are effin HUGE! Plus, they're faster than the oldish PC's they have in the lab!
Image

About an hour and a half later, most of which was spend goofing off in a chat room, I had three programs written for my programming class!
Image

After that, I read a chapter of my XML book this week! I then proceeded to take the quiz and do the assignment!
Image

After that, I walked to Calculus!
Image

... and I absorbed Calculus!
Image

Then after I was sufficiently bemused for the day, I drove home! This is waiting at the highway entrance meter (to help ease traffic congestion during rush hour), with the Las Vegas strip in the background!
Image

When I got home, I had a package waiting from Amazon!
Image

Something to read! Yay!
Image

A little bit later, I decided I was going to make dinner! So, I went to the store to get chicken!
Image

... and then I made chicken and dumplings for dinner!
Image

... and then I sat down to eat it, while watching Glee!
Image

That was my day. Hopefully it didn't bore you too badly. All pictures get MASSIVELY bigger, except for the calculus class one because that's a cellphone picture.

Quick 1-minute Oats
Old-fashioned oats are where it's at, you slacker.

Woah-geeze, I had forgotten about your hand!

Otherwise, sweet day. Calculus, programming, Jon Stewart, and Glee all get my approval.

My grandpa was talking the other day about how good oatmeal is all in taking your time to cook it.

Meanwhile, I was thinking about how I throw rolled oats (quick or not) and water into a bowl and just nuke it for 2 minutes, and it comes out right every time.

Very cool, Wil.

I haven't seen a Smith's in a long time. Ours was changed into a Fry's shortly after I moved here, so that was a strange blast to the past.

Also, I've said this before but I found the strip to be surprisingly run down and trashy looking during the day, with only the help of night to make it look cool.

No, no, steel cut oats are where it's at! They take more than 30 minutes to prepare. :P
Woah-geeze, I had forgotten about your hand!
It looks worse than it was at a few days ago... smashing my hand across my car while trying to change a flat made it start looking awful again. I'm just happy to still have my thumb.

That's how I do it. Plus a little milk, and some sugar. Yum.

Yeah, the strip is pretty trashy. Especially because of all the smut peddlers that are allowed to line the sidewalk, and how much of that smut trash ends up in the street. The inside of the casino's is where it's best, though.
Sigh...I miss calculus.
You crazy.
I like your bobble headed puppies. Very cute.
Thanks!

Is that how it's going to be? I'm "Crazy" now?

I meant the condition of the buildings themselves; they look like stage props, almost, in terms of quality of condition. It's only at night when it's too dark to see how dirty and rundown they look and the lights are all turned on that I thought the majority were worth looking at.

But yes, lots of smut, too, that shouldn't have surprised me, it being Vegas. I know that place is like most guys' idea of heaven on earth and that makes me a little sad. Or am I generalizing there? Maybe I'm generalizing.

I'll have you know that I've never been in a strip club before, or a risqué show, or anything like that, and I am totally not a fan of all the smut! Heaven on Earth? Far from it.

Also, yes, you are now known as Crazy.

Wait, he was calling ME crazy for saying that I missed calculus!

I think by crazy, he means awesome. Calculus is fun!

Calculus is fun, only when it involves integrals and derivatives and all that neat stuff... but differential equations kicked my ass.

The way they did that camera is pretty cool... when I went, the only option they had for video/pictures was a separate person they had to send up. Expensive as hell!

Also, do they not give you an altimeter? There could be one on the camera-hand, but it's hard to tell.

They all had electronic altimeters on their camera hand. In my sisters video you can hear it giving off a warning beep to tell the guy to release the parachute.

I take umbrage at this comment. While I'm certainly lower case "c" crazy, I've done nothing as of yet to earn capital "c" Crazy.

Also, I watched that video at work (no sound) and thought that looked pretty cool. :)
