I am now bored. It is 2am and I'm not tired. I have to work at 6pm tonight so staying up is probably good anyway, so I can sleep during the day today. Four more night shifts, whoo, and then I switch straight back into days. Actually I have to work 1/2 day after my last night shift, which pretty much sucks.

I should be cleaning, but it's dark out! I can't clean when it's dark. Cleaning seems like a morning activity. I did empty the dishwasher and do a load of laundry though, so I was at least slightly productive today. I also read about UTIs and hyponatremia and went grocery shopping.

I can't wait to get on my regular daytime schedule!

Seriously, I can't believe I'm losing sleep over this. I wish he were online so I could finally just confront him with how much that apparently hurt me and we could get it over with.

I feel like a stereotypical sitcom wife or something.

Finally, I am starting work at 7am instead of 7pm!! Although I woke up with a terrible caffeine withdrawal headache. That's what I get for drinking caffeine all night every night for the past 4 weeks.

Yay for day shifts! Although, I liked having you around to talk to (occasionally) during the day. :D

Ughhhhh... So Monday night/Tuesday morning I didn't get to sleep until about 9am, woke up at 5pm. Which meant that Tuesday/Wednesday I also didn't get to sleep until very late, 8am. But today I had to be up before 1 so I could go to work. Now I feel like poop at work and Have another 5 hours here, of which one of them will be active while I direct music, probably will screw everything up, too.

I only got two hours of sleep last night. I don't know what my problem was, I just couldn't go to sleep!

*sigh*

Awake again. I can't seem to sleep at night anymore. Some nights I take something to help, but I don't want to be dependent on that. I want my body to just work properly.

My sleep patterns have been wack lately... I had been back into that pattern where I stay up until 8 or so, then sleep for 6-8 hours, but then I had some things that were making it so I had to get out of the apartment by noon to do stuff, and of course my usual weekend schedule, so I've been going on about 2-4 hours of sleep a night. Fun times...

I sure as hell didn't.... I was up at 1:38, 2:53, 4:40, 5:15, and finally got up for real at 6:45ish.... why does my dog pee so much?!?!?

I am having a persistent problem of going to sleep too late and waking up too early, even when I could have slept late. Too much on my mind, once I'm up, I'm up.

Five hours of sleep a night just doesn't cut it for me.

3:45 AM. Just me and the bots on Pweb. Wish I wouldn't wake up at such awful hours for no good reason.

I stay up late so I can be awake without feeling like my inlaws are watching (and judging) everything I do.

It sucks

I don't post in this thread because I might never sleep again. *superstitious*

And no, Josh, the crummy sleep for two weeks and two sleeping pills instead of one made me sleep that long.

Someone is going to have to explain to me why I woke up at 4am, unable to go back to sleep. It's the middle of the night on my previous time zone too, and heaven knows I did not get very much sleep the night before. Jetlag is weird.

Jetlag is weird.
As are timezones. I'm exhausted, got very strange amounts of sleep over the weekend, got next to no sleep traveling back last night/this morning, and I can't fall asleep now. Which will make working tonight very difficult and painful.

Up most of the night drinking copious amounts of repulsive tasting liquid and pooping it right back out. :x

Hmm, double post because apparently no one has had insomnia in six months.

I worked an 8.5 hour shift today, ending at 11pm. And now I'm too wired to sleep. Blergh!

It's funny this thread was here, because I'm having a super crappy night's sleep.

I had a few rough nights last week; I'm thinking it had everything to do with staff day and apartment stuff because I've slept fine since Friday.

*mega bump*

It is three o'clock in the morning. Technically, I have nothing to really get up for in the morning, but I would like to be asleep right now. But no. My brain won't turn off. And you know the worst part? It's not even thinking about something important. It's all wedding flowers and food and how fancy or laid-back I want this thing to be and how much money my laziness is worth. No worrying at all about the fact that I am giving a convocation speech in front of thousands of people this Friday or that I don't have a job. It's all silly wedding stuff I don't even want to be thinking about yet. Give a girl a break, dear brain of mine.

Hmm. I probably could have put this in the wedding thread. Or things I want to tell my body. But I felt like bumping this one. It was feeling neglected, not being posted in all year.

I should be asleep, but apparently even halfway into my 30’s I still haven’t figured out how to be a responsible adult. I’ve spent the past few hours on a giant nostalgia binge reading through my PM archive and the threads many of them were associated with.

Browsing the forum makes me realize how adddictive and lazy the little thumbs up from Facebook is, because I’ve mentally liked dozens of posts the past day but haven’t actually replied . D’oh!

I hear both of you... For some reason I woke up early this morning thinking about this place and was hit with a heavy nostalgic punch. And just like you, Mobius, I'm reading through old threads. Makes me want to cry... :-(

I had completely forgot about the PM archive and kind of wish it would have stayed that way. So much cringe! It's alright, i'm in my 30's and still have a very unhealthy relationship with sleep.

Also... JOSH!!!!!!!

Just for old times sake : )

Hmm, oldest PM on this account (others prior are probably lost now) is 2009, saying hello to El. Then 2010 Mich asking why I was arguing the way I was at the time about DYDT.

Hm, I wish I had the old stuff.
