Confession: I watch way too much TV now that all the new shows have started. There are just too many good shows nowdays.
Mon: Heroes and Studio 60
Tues: House, Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars
Wed: Jericho
Thurs: My Name is Earl, The Office and Smallville(which is not actually good, per say, but addictive)
Sat: Battlestar Galactica

Ack.
I blame the reality TV craze for the goodness of TV nowdays. Writers all went out of work for a couple years and realized that they had to make actual good shows.

Edit: forgot Saturday.

I'm so glad to find someone else who watches Veronica Mars! I thought I was the only one. It's gotten really good reviews but no one seems to watch it. And yeah, Smallville had a horrible season 4 but it's slowly redeeming itself...

If it makes you feel better my list would be way longer than yours...but the ones we have in common:

Heroes, House, Veronica Mars, The Office and Smallville

I might very well be the only person in southwest Indiana that doesn't watch Smallville. Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) is from around here. It's not that I don't want to watch it, I just don't watch much TV at all.

It took me about half an hour to find where the (non-reference) books are.

And I was inside a library. (I saw newspapers, magazines, empty bookshelves, and DVDs before I found them.)

I don't really think that it's my fault, since there are not any signs to them. But still.

Edit: And then, I couldn't find a book since the order was a bit screwed up on one of the shelves. I guess I just assume the order is always correct, so I had to be shown by a person at the circulation desk that it was not, in fact, lost.

I'm slowly introducing more of my friends to Miss Mars, truely addicted.

We're a few episodes behind, so I'll kill anyone who tells me who's responsible for the bus crash.

And a confession: While I'm here, I should be writing an essay on the Golden age of Spain. I've had this for two weeks and it's due tomorrow.

My work ethic has really been pathetic lately.

I want to teach ethics because I have a streak of sadism in me which enjoys watching students squirm. And argue with each other.

I really, really, really love statistics when it's taught well. It's so logical and orderly. I get wriggly with joy in my good stats classes.

Confession: I skipped a midterm today because I never bought the book, e-mailed my professor to tell him I have food poisoning, and in a moment am going to do my stage makeup for optimum illness, take a shot of Ipecac and go to the infirmary.

You'd get an automatic F in the class and quite probably suspended for doing that here.

I'm skipping my Latin tutorial right now because there's a woman in my class I can't stand, and the prof knows how to shut her up but the TA doesn't. And all I want to do is scream, because they're teaching me stuff I already know and have for years. At least professor George actually teaches me stuff.

Kim-

How small is your school, and how on earth do they know you're not legitimately ill?

Update: I skipped the Ipecac 'cause I didn't feel like really getting sick, and still gave such an impressive performance that I now have a prescription for 10 anti-nausea pills.

And the best part of all of this is that I'm currently eating the leftover shrimp that I blamed for my food poisoning.

I handed in a statutory interpretation assignment that not only refers to podophilia *foot fetishes*, but also has the phrase, "gratuitous ornithological fornication" and ended up getting one of the highest marks in the class :)

I didn't show up for a final once, cause I was flunking the cause anyhow, and figured the prof would give me an F. He fooled me and gave me an Incomplete. Which was probably nicer, cause I didn't have an F on my transcript, but I did have to repeat the course to take care of that incomplete. :P

I want to be good at something artsy.

Oh. And also. I've taken to sleeping on my new couch instead of in my bed. Not because it's more comfortable or convenient. Because I like waking up and seeing someone there in the morning, even if it's just my cats (who aren't allowed in the bedroom).

Sad, but true.

*I don't know what to say on pweb anymore*

I got all into the hype at the beginning of the new board. It was small for awhile and I felt I fit in for awhile. Now it's big again, and I find myself not reading very much and not feeling like I fit into anywhere.

Confession:

This is probably going to get me in trouble, but I think women who wear cute shoes and then spend all night whining about how painful they are are weak and snivily. I can respect women who will only wear sneakers and flip flops. I'm not one of them, but if that's the choice you want to make, I can totally respect that. But if you're going to walk all around the city in cute shoes, especially cheaply made ones, then suck it up like the rest of us, suffer in silence, and go home and nurse your wounds like a big girl.
