What's the question you wish people would ask you?

Most of us, going out and about through the day constantly have a million and one thoughts bouncing around inside our head. Questions we thought we already knew the answer to, and answers to questions we have no idea why we asked. And sometimes we formulate long, involved answers to questions that no one ever asked, and no one is terribly likely to ask. What's the silent question you spend the most time working on?

Anything which would allow me to share my useless geeky knowledge. Whether it be, how can Batman win in a fight against Superman? What happens in the Star Wars novels set after Return of the Jedi? Who's better, Angel or Spike? Or, how does (insert movie) differ from the book it's based on?

What would be your survival plan if you were caught up in a Timeline*-esque temporal dislocation?

* Terrible movie. Book slightly better, but not by a lot.

Would you like a job that's challenging and requires you to learn new things?

Why did you like him?

I would love to be able to explain myself rather than listen to people go off on certain people I have liked/associated with.

Sorry, but i don't buy the "jk jk" ;) i am perfectly sure you'd love to be asked that question, at least if it came from a segment of human species whose phenotype appealed to your psyche.

It doesn't count as one of the questions I've pondered, and come up with a complicated answer to, though.

"Can you tell me about yourself?"

Not really anyone on the street, but I had such good responses planned for my interviews, and no one asked me that! I was annoyed.

How's the dissertation coming along?

How's the wedding planning going?

How are you coming along on those reports?

What happened to your arms/legs?

So, are you analyzing me right now?

Could you tell me in great detail your thoughts on Bones, particularly the way it declined after the Season 3 finale? Also, what are your thoughts about the betrayal of the early-season characters -- particularly Dr. Brennan -- by turning them in to caricatures?

Kirsten, I'm watching Bones right now (due largely in part to you and Kimmie!) and am halfway through season two. When I'm finished, I will DEFINTIELY ask you that question! (Although I'm sorry to hear it declines. I'm enjoying it so much!)

I would have to say it did decline and is declining. Did you hear their working on a jersey shore episode? :(

"Would you tell me a story?"

I have so many plans for the stories I will tell my kids when they want one before bed. I'll have stories about princesses that require time travel to save, and what the sandman is REALLY like, and super secret spies with troubled pasts, and a brother and sister that totally almost get together before the brother kills his dad.

Then my children will grow old enough to experience these stories firsthand and totally think that they ripped me off.

Those stories sounded pretty awesome up until the incest.

I was going to say: "How are you?", but then I realized there is one person specifically that asks me this question every time she calls and I always reply "Fine".

"Why are you so good looking and awesome?"

I would like to hear that question every once in a while. Also...

"Wanna make out?"

"Whats the answer to live the universe and everything...and you cant use numbers."

I'd like to hear someone in politics ask "What are your views?" Happened once; I took a telephone poll, at the end they invited me to a sit-down round-table. Got paid $50 to sit and talk politics for 90 minutes. BEST. DAY. EVER.

Wow. That does sound awesome. I'm kind of jealous, except for the fact that I hate talking politics.

Also,
"What's the answer to life the universe and everything?"
is not the question you are thinking of. Bonito had it.
