Pweb Bridal Shower
So, not one, not two but THREE of our beloved pwebbers are getting married in the not-too-distant future.
Kirsten, Kim and Helen - congrats to all three of you!
So, this thread is the bridal shower for them
*breaks out the tea and tiny cookies*

-Ok, where are the brides? who's the first to shower?
Don't worry, we're pros.
This is a joke post. This post doesn't mean to be disruptive, but funny. If it is not funny, of if it is unfunny, please don't blame it on the poster. Unfunniness can come from sources totally unrelated to the poster, and quite possibly related to the quality of the hoses firemen use in someone else's community. Please contact the firemen if this post starts to burn. Please delete this post if you are a mod and it bothers you too much.

I was just thinking about how we have quite a few Pwebbers that are about to get married. Congratulations everyone : )
On a slightly different note, i've actually never been to a bridal shower.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

Helen! You look beautiful! Congratulations!
I must confess, I totally stalk wedding blogs, although I'm not yet engaged. I saw your feature on A Practical Wedding, and I hope when all is said and done the day itself was as joyful as can be, regardless of any stress leading up to it.

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Favorite guest photos (sorry, Ali, no photobombs):
The absurdity that I made alterations on my dress while wearing it and less than 2 hours before the ceremony:
Groomsmen:
the ladies and the Dude of Honor:
Taking the ring from my brother, also showing the bouquet that Jared made for me:
Aerial view of the wedding party:
The first kiss (clearly, this guest has photoshop)
Just after the kiss (same guest):
Recessing up the "aisle" (we were married in the town's outdoor amphitheater)

I'm sorry the honeymoon was terrible! One of the radio stations around here recently did a call-in about terrible honeymoon experiences. There were a lot of stories; it was so sad!
You look SO beautiful and happy at the wedding! Yay!

These pictures are all great! Your wedding looks like it was amazing. I've also known more couples who've had bad honeymoons than couples who've had good ones; it's a lot more common than I would think, but maybe I'm just an outlier.
I also have to comment that your brother looks extremely, hilariously awkward in most photos.

Those are fantastic photos! You both look so happy and in love, I'm just thrilled for you!
