Bartender, a double gin and tonic please, and make it Hendricks.

2000!
Yay! Moving on up. 8)

I love that you're both #10 and the divide for 1000s and 2000s but now the OCD tendencies in me want to start manipulating the member list going down the line. That would involve a lot of bugging the hell out of people I don't feel comfortable bugging to get their numbers up, so I won't, but man...think of the numerical possibilities.

Dear Jan,

I would like to take this opportunity to say congratulations and welcome to the Totally Terrific Three Thousand Trifecta. As our newest member, you get to wear this nifty hat:

and as an added bonus, you get to point and laugh at the others, while feeling smug and superior.

Sincerely,

I will temporarily replace my pointy mod had with an awesome tri-corner hat.

I have an irrational feeling that pweb will suffer another catastrophic crash before I reach 2000 posts since pweb II died when I was in the 1900s.

Truth be told, Petrie, that makes me feel highly uncomfortable and just the slightest bit nervous. Just between you and me (<- a PUN!), I think I'm roughly half the posts on this board. I miss when Val-Nicole was top poster. And, now don't take this the wrong way, I'm a little bored.

Uncomfortable and nervous? Seriously? What's there to be uncomfortable and nervous about? It's just post count. Everyone knows that doesn't matter and I really can't see how it would even begin to make you feel either of those things.

It's just...sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself. That feels lonely and makes me feel like an attention whore. I just want to disappear in the crowd, not be the crowd.
