Regional Words (again)

What do you call these?:
What do you call these?:
One Duck to rule them all.

I honestly had no idea. I mean, sure I've heard them given the bland description of 'coloured pencils' on occasion, but what they are is pencil crayons!Exactly, Rei. I know them as pencil crayons. Did you know that was a Canadian thing?? I had no idea.

I'd rather have some grease pencils so I can write on anything.

Colored pencils.
I've never heard of pencil crayons, but I think it's cute.

Buff. Ripped is for pants (i.e. Spongebob Squarepants) and DVD's, and I've never heard of the word "swole" 'till now. Matter of fact, even my spell-checker won't recognize it.
Who controls the British crown? Who keeps the metric system down?

Who leaves Atlantis off the maps? Who keeps the Martians under wraps?

Who holds back the electric car? Who makes Steve Gutenberg a star?
We do! We do!
Who robs cavefish of their sight? Who rigs every Oscar night?
We do, we do!

Muscular. Built. Toned.
Not that I can think of many times I've ever discussed muscular people at length. The only time that comes to mind is when I was telling my mom about this patron at work, who is pretty muscular but also sounded like Mike Tyson when he spoke.

I've heard teenagers use the term "diesel", which I think is pretty stupid.
I've also heard all of the others except "swole" used interchangeably.

Never heard diesal.
We use buff as more like a person who is big and muscular. Like stocky. Like Shaquille O Neal.
While, ripped is like a skinny person who's muscular.
Or, at least, that's how I think about it.
But, I generally hear swole used here in the deep south.
