+ Got an offer from Oxford Uni! Yay!
- Requires 3 As, with two of them being maths and further maths
- Got some hard decisions to make

Overall, however, I think it's a definite plus.

Sorry, it's a lot.. Many things have happened!

Thumbs up: New(ish) boyfriend, though it's essentially been a relationship since the beginning of the semester.
Thumbs up: Got him to read Ender's Game, and now he wants to read Ender's Shadow (which reminded me I haven't been here in a while, so here I am!)
Thumbs up: He doesn't want to get back with his ex who wants to get back with him and she's gorgeous and everyone loves her, so she's intimidating..
Thumbs up: His parents like me!
Thumbs down: I have to find a way to tell this guy who really wanted to try dating when he got back stateside about aforementioned new boyfriend..
Thumbs up: My friend who stopped talking to me because of new boyfriend finally called me the other day, and I loved getting to talk to him again!
Thumbs up: 4.0 GPA and Dean's list for my first semester at college!
Thumbs up: Got a tutoring job through the college
Thumbs up: My employers from this semester want me to continue driving their daughter to gymnastics and dentist appointments because they think I'm reliable. They even got me a Christmas gift..
Thumbs down: Possibly 20 hours of classes next semester, a lot more homework (I only had one class that took up homework this semester, moving to 4), twice as many labs next semester, driving 2-3 times a week, tutoring at least 4 hours a week, and having to write a lot of papers after not writing for 7 months.
Thumbs down: Pretty sure I'm sick for the fourth time this semester (3 of which weren't something I caught from someone else)
Thumbs down: I have to get a North Carolina driver's license so I can register my car here. I'm losing part of my Texan identity!
Thumbs down: In the town my mom moved to for break, so I don't know anyone here and there are still 2.5 weeks left of break.
Thumbs Sideways?: Going to church on Christmas Eve. Kind of intimidated about it, but I miss the candles and the songs, so hopefully it will be fun!
Thumbs up: Boyfriend is coming to visit for a couple of days after Christmas!
Thumbs up: Then my brother is coming to visit for a couple of days after that.
Thumbs up: Almost done reading a great book called Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. It's intense, and I've really enjoyed finally getting to read for the pleasure of reading here.

Thumbs Up: Appointment set. That went much quicker this year, from starting point to setting appointment.

Thumbs Down: It's on Monday. I'll need to inform my dad he has to get me back, from Tucson, early enough to make it but without telling him why.

Thumbs We'll See: I kind of, sort of, really don't feel like being emotionally open or vulnerable with anyone, it all feels so pointless, but maybe it will be different with a professional.

emotionally open or vulnerable
Well it really depends on your definition. You seem very open to talk about things both practical and emotional IMO.

Yes, yes, i'll follow the code.

Thumbs up: Day off :)

However could they guess???

Thumbs down: anti-gun zealots
I don't think I even understand what being pro-guns means.

You mean pro-gun rights.

Although I'm pro-gun too. What kind of red-blooded American male doesn't enjoy shooting firearms?

That is because, deep down, and on the surface, too, I'm needy.

Equally true, however, is the fact that I am 1) considerably more awkward and terrible at in-person communication outside of a very small group of people and 2) am finding it increasingly difficult and almost work-like to do it online.

i find this slightly depressing.

but that's probably mostly due to me being slightly depressed already.

Thumbs up: Pweb and pwebbers. This place rocks and you guys are what make it rock. I really love y'all.

Thumbs down: guns. I'm not pro- or anti-gun rights, I just don't like guns. In my family, we weren't even allowed to play with water guns as kids.

I'm sorry to hear that. We're here for you, of course, but if you ever need to vent about anything in a less public space, feel free to PM Jeebs.

Kidding. Feel free to PM me.

Thumbs down: My car needed an inspection and it ended up needing front brake pads.

Thumbs up: Total cost of brakes, inspection and oil change was only $160 which isn't bad. And the mechanic is next door.

Thumbs down: Neither my laptop or my dad's laptop play DVDs anymore. One won't fully load the DVD and the other doesn't acknowledge that there's anything in the drive in the first place. HP, you are letting me down.

Thumbs up: My interview on Thursday went well - so I've passed the screening interview, and the nurse manager will start to send my resume on to the different practices in the health team coalition.

Thumbs up: I have another interview coming up next week - for a position I never actually expected to be taken seriously for, yet.

I have this problem still with my Dell. It's getting increasingly frustrating, as I don't ever feel like fighting over control of the tv in the living room.

Thumbs Upish: I can take a 19" tv from my brother this weekend and put it in my room. I already have a DVD player.

Thumbs Down: I hate having a tv in my room and haven't for the past 5.5 years. Also, no room, so I'll be boxing up something to make room for it.

Thumbs Up: Wicked on Sunday

Thumbs Down: No tickets in the mail for Wicked.

Thumbs Down: Bill in the mail from insurance

Thumps Up: Got that taken care of because I am a pack rat and keep my EOBs.

Thumbs Down: Ticketmaster won't answer their flipping phones and it's pissing me off just a tad.

Thumbs up: I got an hour massage today for $25 thanks to groupon.

Thumbs down: I would rate the massage a 5/10 because even though I asked for a deep tissue and told her that I wanted it to HURT, it was completely wimpy and didn't work out my knots at all.

Airfare would cost more than $25, but I'd give you the most awesome massage of your life for free when you got here!! ;)
