Thumbs down: there was a really cute girl at the store where I work today, and I was too afraid to ask her out- which made me sad afterwards.

Thumbs up: The new frozen gluten free pizza.
Thumbs down: the fact I may have set off the fire alarm cooking it...
Thumbs up: Reading 5 books this weekend so far.
Thumbs down: The rain is anticipated to continue till Thursday, per Google.
Thumbs up: chocolate mousse.
Thumbs down: Apparently my nickel allergy still exists. I hoped that it was an incorrect explanation for the fact my ears consumed my earring backs, but alas, I had to remove my cute new necklace due to itching.

Thumbs up: my father (whom I love very, very much) just bought me, as a surprise, a pair of running shoes.
Thumbs down: they're colored bright-orange, so they're useful ONLY for running. (they're light, though)

Thumbs up: I have been ridiculously busy at work lately with a sort of pseudo promotion to onlining. I really like it, photoshop with video. I learned so much yesterday, and the day before. I want to take classes.

Thumbs down: I got in a groove today late in evening stayed at work until 9:30 coloring the show and then realized belatedly the gym closes at 10 on fridays and that my streak of 18 consecutive days (and 19 workouts) at the gym was over and I was not going to reach the subgoal I had of working out every day in April. If only I had left my bedroom and gone to the gym when my alarm went off at 7 this morning.

Thumbs down: I think my car battery needs a jump
Thumbs up: I have AAA.

Congrats, Twinny. I get the hating a job bit but more hours (more money) will make good things happen outside of work and this isn't forever. :)

Thumbs up: Spent all day out and about.
Thumbs down: After trip to library to kill time before picking up dinner at new place I wanted to try, I didn't actually end up going to said place.
Thumbs up: The reason was because I ended up at grocery store I hadn't tried before that had a ton of food I could eat.
Thumbs undecided: Now planning on staying here till at least August. And contemplating the whole year as well.......

Thumbs up: According to everyone who came up and sincerely congratulated me, I played great in the goal during the game. I stopped like 25 goals, and against the hardest team of the season.
Thumbs down: I still let in two stupid goals, and we ended up tying.

Thumbs Up: I've spent time with my little brother 3 out of the 5 past weekends. He is one of my best friends and is a ton of fun to hang out with, not to mention talk to.

Thumbs Down: He left this morning and I probably won't see him again for at least a month. I hate it when he leaves because my life always feels a little more dull and a lot more empty after.

Thumbs up: My check was way better then normal.

Thumbs down: My district manager forgot to put in for my raise on time, and I don't get any extra money for another two weeks.

Thumbs up: My next check should super mega check (at least for me).

Rated W for Whining.

Thumbs up: My chances of ever getting in to grad school for my now-chosen focus are not nearly as abysmal as I thought. But still marginal.
Thumbs down: My cell phone is lost.
Thumbs eh: my dad is visiting this end of week/weekend and it may be the only time I see someone from my family until June/July so I should be excited but I'm really kind of frustrated because this was decided very last minute and I have chem homework, the most important thing of this quarter of calculus to learn, & major thing at work on Friday & Saturday.
Thumbs down: Probable PMS. Resurgent nerve pain. Said lack of phone making feeling in touch with anyone reallyyy hard.
Thumbs okay: cleaning apartment might be a great stress relief. If my back wasn't so sore.

Thumbs Down: A major project, a major paper, and 6 AP tests between now and graduation.
Thumbs Up: Very soon will mark 2.5 years with Tom. =]

Thumbs down: Pheeny pushed the window screen out while sunning and escaped into the yard today. My whole family came over to help search for her. I thought we would never find her. I was sobbing.

Thumbs up: We found her after 2.5 hours.

In my mind, I'm picturing the scene in Honey I Shrunk the Kids where the parents are looking in the yard. I'm glad you found her, though!

Thumbs up -- I had a ton of fun shopping today and got some stuff we needed as well as some things I've been wanting.

Also bought my fiance's wedding ring.

Thumbs down -- woah. Spent a lot of money in one single day.

It is. Very exciting! :) The ring itself is -- well, not exactly pretty, but very much a nice piece of masculine jewelry. Cobalt, with beveled edges that have what looks sort of like a vine around them. It's a fairly thick band. No design on the center of the band.

I've always believed I have huge hands. And, really, for a woman they are pretty large. Mostly, though, it turns out it's due to long fingers -- my ring size is actually only size 7, which I did not know before I got my ring. He has a ring size of 12. So, I like putting his ring on or putting my engagement ring inside of it -- makes me feel delicate. :)

I think 7 is probably the average woman's size since all the costume jewelry type rings in stores are usually size 7 or 8. My husband and I both have very small fingers. Mine ring finger is size 4 3/4 and his is 8. My thumb is only a size 6!
