Thumbs up: One set of exams marked.

Thumbs down: I have to be up in about 5 hours to go supervise the writing of another set.

Airfare would cost more than $25, but I'd give you the most awesome massage of your life for free when you got here!! ;)

Thumbs Up: My 1099s came in, finally. Tax time, tax time, tax time.
Thumbs Up: I had the right name when I was talking to my dearest friend about them last week.

Thumbs Down: I need something kind of sucky for this, I guess...so, unrelated, I only get one day off this weekend.

Thumbs Up: Did I mention I can do my taxes now? Why does this excite me so?

I am super excited to do my taxes as well!
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Thumbs up: Setting up interviews for people to take over as Editor when I leave in June.

Thumbs up: I get to leave in June!

Thumbs down: I'll still be holding the position until June, which cuts into my necessary bar prep time.

Thumbs down: I have so much work to do before the next deadline that setting up interviews and meeting with potential Editors could make me fall behind.

Thumbs up: Someday I'll have free time. That day will be glorious and cannot get here soon enough.

Ooh, you use it too! My only complaint thus far is that I used to be able to _underscore_ words and they would italicise, but in Open Office underscoring seems to lead to underlining. Do you have any idea how to alter this?

No, actually, I don't. My word processing needs are that of a mother, so I don't do (or need to do) anything fancy. Sorry I can't be of help!

Hmm, I really like Chipotle's. But then again, we just got our first couple in the area, so maybe it gets old.

It's too greasy and they put cilantro in the rice, and I'm one of those people who taste cilantro as dish soap.

Well, I live in an area where there are not a lot of mexican options. So, when it's Taco Bell or Chipotles, it looks pretty darn good. :)

Chipotle and Qdoba are good, but they're not Big City Burrito! The Burrito places (and the trend) came from right here in good ol' northern colorado. But Big City Burrito was the original, and still the best! (Too bad for everyone else that it's only local.)

So... Chipotle is a restaurant chain? as opposed to smoked jalapeno peppers? Because that'd make a lot more sense out of the first post on the matter.

thumbs down, working on sunday

thumbs way down, will be working on Oscar Sunday :(:(:(

thumbs up, I need the sixth day money

thumbs down, I need the money for taxes because I forgot about the 2 exemptions I put on the w4 when I started that job in december 09, which carried over for 7 months of employment of 2010

thumbs up, I was right that you cannot just deduct every movie ticket, your cable/satellite & internet bills as well as any other entertainment expense as a business expense if you work in entertainment and just be good (which is what EVERYONE has told me, but none of them have ever been able to articulate why it was legal other than that everyone does it). One there's a bucket load of paperwork you have to keep track of for each expense and two, you only get to deduct 50%. :-p
So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

Thumbs Up: Positive and productive first meeting with the therapist. This is such a relief.

Thumbs Down: Even with insurance, this is going to hurt a bit. Trip to Boston I had hoped to take with my brother in May? Most likely out the window. :(

Thumbs Up: The walk there was nice, too, if not a bit on the warm side for February. Breezy, which made having long hair that was not put up pretty fun.

Thumbs Down: My brother drove by when I was walking there and my mom unexpectedly came home from work while I was out. Questions from both of them. I think they're wondering what I'm up to and I don't feel like talking about it with either of them. Maybe later.

Thumbs Either/Or: Perhaps as a sign of just how lazy I let myself get while in the worst of my funk, the fact that I got the yard done today feels like the biggest personal accomplishment of mine in 2011.

Thumbs Way Up: The Good Wife
Thumbs Amused: The Multi-Post-It Note long details of a project for my absent boss so I will have something to do tomorrow.
Thumbs Down: Homework due in an hour or so I haven't quite finished. That last 20 minute of productivity needed are long gone.
Thumbs Up: Downton Abbey
Thumbs Up: Summer research internship interview to be scheduled!
Thumbs down: Post-Summer Disarray
