It weirds me out a bit that you can just "add" me to a group.
Oh, Facebook, you fickle mistress.

I believe their concept is that it's like tagging people in photos, but instead tagging people in groups.

I just about had a panic attack* when I noticed that in my feed; luckily, it doesn't seem to appear on Info tabs or sidebars, otherwise I'd have left the group by now.



Kind of don't get the point of having two when the first isn't used and we have a separate chatroom that is also largely unused, but I don't want to keep sounding like a negative Nancy; you might think I have it out for your attempts to show Pweb some love.

*My mom bought my ticket for me to go meet my first Pwebber. My dad met, fed, and allowed me to host Yebra for a weekend; my big brother took me to pick him up at the airport. My little brother actually told me the name of Pweb ("I know you go to that philotic place or whatever") in April or May, I think.

But if I thought for even a second they had a direct link or way to find a direct link here, I'd be gone or largely silenced. This is my safe place and there is very little filter between my headspace and here. Them being privy to that would suck, to say the least, which is part of why I left or never joined the other Pweb/EG stuff on Facebook once family started finding and friending me there. The last thing I wanted was for one of them to get bored and curious, and Google "Pweb" or "Philotic Web."

And that's why you don't friend your relatives, or why you create a moniker identity to friend them.
You have to keep track of them. They don't have to keep track of you.
