Reviews of Bic pens for her. I love well-deployed sarcasm.

Every time I use the microwave now I think of that comic and how inaccurate it is. You know what buttons I use just as often as the 9? 6, 7, and 8. You never end your amount in them, you can't have your seconds count in them, and I very rarely need to cook anything that long.
So you're wrong, Randall. Dead wrong. Or at least playing favorites.

Once upon a time I had a microwave that would let you put in up to 99 seconds. It was awesome.

Thinking of this thread, I microwaved something for sixteen seconds instead of fifteen this morning. I swear, the 6 was startled and then nearly in tears.

Today on the street I saw a guy with an awesome t-shirt. It said "ESCAPE VELOCITY - you can't leave home without it!" and had a little NASA logo. Plus the relevant equations.

The expression on this kid's face also made me bust out laughing.
I'm not sure why I thought this was so hilarious but I'm not going to question it.

I made a very sarcastic comment on someone's Facebook post and one of her other friends said, "I don't know you, but that is a terrible comment." I can't decide if she completely missed the sarcasm in my post and was genuinely offended or just didn't find it funny. Either way, I kind of do. Does this make me a bad person?

Past becomes prologue. Now-cast becomes forecast. Only I remain.

My friend whose Twitter is entirely parts of his NaNoWriMo that he's particularly proud of, with occasional transcriptions of the conversation he has with the ostensibly main character of his NaNo 2008.
But it's more of an elitist laugh, which makes me feel like a bad person.
Me, on typing "word" instead of "world": Although, if you accept God as the logos and the universe as the uttering of logos, world and word are very close to the same thing
Rei: that was generally my thought
Rei: word, world, one and the same

Watching Family Feud with mom and Nom:
Announcer: 100 people surveyed, give me something that comes after "pork-" [-chop, -loin, -roast, etc.]
Mom: -cullis!
Yes, my mother suggested "porkcullis" as an answer. She later suggested "-upine", as in "porcupine", but since one of the contestants also suggested that, I can't make too much fun.
