Eh. I'm one for whom the prequels left an irremovable bad taste in my mouth.

Holding the Originals up to them makes the presentation of the Original look outdated and worn. But, of course, the prequels are horribly flawed themselves.

If Peter Jackson wanted to direct remakes of the Originals, I'd be game, but for now the whole series is just kinda...

Man, I know this got bumped by a spambot, but did anyone else get that super-awesome deal on Knights of the Old Republic when it was for sale on Steam? $2! Two! If only KOTOR 2 could be Steam distributed...

There's been a decent amount of SW talk lately and I remembered having a catch-all thread for it.

I really enjoyed this:

Boba Fett looks vaguely like how I imagine a steampunk Javert.

Hmm, I wonder if there is some way to get the C3PO as a wallpaper for my R2D2 droid phone?

Those would also fit in the "Things That Make Me Laugh" thread for me; I was laughing so hard, the annoying people in the front (family) was asking what was so funny. I went and showed them and they just gave me this look, like I had five heads...or no sense of humor. Whatever. I loved them. I think the dinner and the perfect gift are tied for my favorite.

I know Ali sent me a link to that, I know I posted it on Facebook, but I don't know if it was put on Pweb.

A few of those made it onto my wish list; my Nomi-Wicket inspired me to ask for those (not short but not long, not entirely obvious story behind that), so we'll see if I own any in the near future.

Anyone watching the Holiday special this year? To be clear, is anyone watching the holiday train-wreck from the 70s this year? I'm trying to rope someone into watching it with me...it's like they think it's so bad, it can only be watched once in a lifetime, if at all, or something. You know you want to.

I love that they're all bad guys. Space has cottoned on to the fact that a lot of people find the good guys a bit boring, I guess.

I give to you: a breakdancing (lady) stormtrooper.

The picture quality is pretty terrible, given that they were taken in a bar with my phone's camera, but nonetheless: enjoy.

That's kinda great.

Also, a few weeks ago we saw a storm trooper on a street corner.

I sense the presence of a simmering plot to implement this as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

I wouldn't put it past you to get keyless entry/start on a car just so you have the possibility of an opportunity. ;)

Silly Adam. I plan to not need a car from here on out; biking here, public transit in Chicago. BUT, I would gladly attempt it using a friend's vehicle and I just happen to know someone who has a key-less start car.

Apparently they met at a mexican restaurant and became friends when Simon made droid noises for Nick.

What's the deal with the cameras on the eyes? Is there another version that shows what they're filming?
