Oh, don't worry. I'd give you the fascinating parts of my homework! So you wouldn't be bored!

The fascinating parts of what? Interests come from desire. To crush suffering, you must crush desire. If I do the work, you'd lose out on the learning.

Actually, I would not. I would gain on the sleep!

I've already done the learning. Now it's just the endless repetition!

You desire to sleep, which means you didn't crush desire, which means suffering will result... or did I memorize the Buddha too well... I don't know.

I think suffering is an integral part of life.

Also, if you don't have desire, what's the point of living? You should always want something...

No, no, existence. Go read your sutras!

I should be doing yardwork. I'd enjoy it once I started; sun, fresh air, FOB, dancing around the yard, getting dirty and generally feeling productive.

But I can't motivate myself to do the hard part and just start. I need to do it today and it needs to be done before practice but I just want to sit around and talk. So I'll play on Pweb for a little bit, methinks.

There are lots of things I should be doing, the keyword being should...

Well, that's obvious because of the thread name. You just didn't fulfill the thread's purpose of confessing to us.

I really should be studying right now. Spanish has never been my high point.

What to do... what to do... I'm done with my assignments, well ahead actually, in math and chemistry... English, I'm at where I'm supposed to be, History, I just got done with a project one day ahead of due date... nothing to do.

I feel like you're in the wrong thread..

I should be writing up my physics lab, doing my calculus and statistics homework, reading my government chapter, and reading my book for English..

Yay for watching the Olympics instead!

Procrastination caused my GPA to go from 3.96 to 3.20, so I don't want to lose any more of it. I'd like to graduate with a 3.5 GPA, meaning work first and play later.

Typed on my brother's iPod touch.

Does your school work on a 4.0 max scale?

Tonight, I should have already finished A Tale of Two Cities. But I will do ANYTHING not to read that book. It's good. But it disturbs me. I suppose I could have gotten it out of my car at least..

So I took an extra week off after Spring Break to attend a wedding in New Jersey. I was supposed to have finished all my homework early as well as the homework I would have missed. But, of course, I procrastinated and so now I have to catch up on everything in these next two days. Take my advice and don't attempt to learn two weeks worth of stuff in two days. It kills.

I really should be studying for my History test tomorrow.I think I'll go do that, actually. Just thinking about this thread has inspired me to be a better student.

I have two math packets to do... but I'm on spring break, so I think I'll procrastinate. :)

at my school at the very least, it is widely accepted that AP=advanced procrastination

it seems I'm in the right class. :P

*sigh* I know I really should be doing the outline for that huge paper right now, but I've been working on it so long, I swear I wanted to scream.

I just spent the last 3 hours avoiding studying. I did a tiny, tiny bit. I have never had this big a problem with procrastination before when it was this close, ie within 24 hours of a test that was actually hard with information I'm not great at. Ugh.

So, I have this project that I was supposed to be working on all semester. And it's due tomorrow! I totally have founds sites with information on them for it today! And it's only a paper and a presentation about things I don't know about..

However, I really, really can't find motivation to do it.. My roommate for this fall just added me on Facebook, and I've been reading about student government, and school is just so exciting! Except, I have to finish my other school stuff first.. Ah! I'm so excited. My projects and AP tests should go away so I can just read about college forever...

Why does yardwork make me procrastinate like nothing else? I'm pretty sure I've said this before but I enjoy it when I'm out doing it, it's just getting out to do it that causes problems.

I suppose the heat is also contributing to my procrastination this time of year but this procrastination tactic will backfire. It tends to get hotter as the day goes on.

So, I procrastinated sending my Final Transcript.
The date is set: May 3rd to May 28th
By not following these procedures, we cannot guarantee that your transcript will be processed and received by the college of your choice.
Oops.

I also procrastinated buying tickets to Project Grad AND doing my last assignment of my High School career, but as long is it's done by Friday...

Meh.

*mega bump*

I should be reading papers for microbial ecology, but Beauty and the Beast seems like such a better choice right now.

Yay for random urges turning into procrastination tactics! (And I have to get off the computer so chat will stop tempting me).

So, I'm supposed to be appartment hunting, but I've been putting it off. I've got a list of a few places that look interesting and all I need to do at this point is call them and see if any of them have a room available I can look at. But partly because I hate talking on the phone and partly because other stuff keeps getting in the way, I keep finding excuses to not do it.
