It's snowing. I pretended it was hail at first, but it's too floaty now. Snow.

*muttermutter*

At least I have my hat.

I woke up this morning to a winter wonderland. It's white, it's fluffy, it's snow and it's everywhere.

I'm so jealous! My friend at Waterloo was talking about snow too (although they didn't get enough to stick). It's 75 degrees here (24 C) and the chances of any snow this winter are slim. There had better be snow when I go home up north for Christmas.

Just above 70 here, no snow... Sad. :(

I wore shorts yesterday and I didn't have a problem. It's still nice and warm here.

One day it's cold, next 2 days really nice. Then it rains like a tropical storm, drizzles in the morning, and by 2, it's nice and sunny.....

that's NE for ya.

Snow is pretty to look at... It's not so great to be out in once you're past the age when you can play in it without people looking at you funny, and you have places to get to. Every winter I can't help but wonder why global warming is considered a bad thing.

I dont mind snow very much. Its not too bad, and with hockey season in full swing now im wondering when we're gonna get some snow here in Lethbridge. We were supposed to get some yesterday, but it was rather mild and about 7 degrees above zero all day. today was a bit colder, but alas, no snow. Oh well, Red Deer got some, so I'll see some when I get there tomorrow.

I love the first snow! And snow in general. Right now, it's peak fall foliage season here in upstate NY...which is my favorite season of all.

sounds like my construction days. and sounds like a warm version of what it was like here. some flurries, nothing that sticks though. just freakin' cold. i love the snow. and really who cares if people look at you funny. i'll be 27 in a couple weeks, i still plan on building snow men, snow angels, snowball fights, hell, if we have enough snow, i might just make a snow fort. why? because it's fun and i like having fun, no matter what my age is.

We are told it snowed, today. It is not even a lousy fortnight into October and it has the NERVE to snow. We are not impressed.

I don't understand people who say, "I'm too old to make snow angels and have snowball fights." I make angels and have snowball fights whenever I damn want!

Of course, I have also been known to dance in the rain. Not alone, but.

mr_thebrain listed 3 of my 101 things to do in the next 1001 days. Snowmen, snowangels & snowball fights. My daughter is 2 yrs old and she thought seeing snow on everything this morning was the coolest thing. :D My wife took her outside and she came back in to show me a snowball she made. :D

I concur. I came home from hanging out with my friends and there was white stuff covering the hood of my mom's car...

It's a balmy 77 degrees here at the moment, and the weather has been very pleasant.

Of course, this afternoon, just as I was leaving work, there had to be a huge downpour. *grumble* I had to run back to my office for one of the emergency umbrellas we keep there (I think my co-worker took the other one) and drive home in the crazy kind of traffic you get when it rains hard.

I tell you, 20 cm of snow on the ground is a blast when you're a kid, but when you're an adult (and I use the term loosely when referring to myself) it just means having to shovel a ton of the stuff to get the car out of the garage (I think I hold the world record for doing this one time when I was late), and leaving home at least half an hour earlier.

It's fine if I don't have to be anywhere though. :D

yay snowblowers! though i have been known to skip snowblowing and just shovel instead. i like the snow. shoveling isn't a bad little work out, and it's kinda refreshing. besides, if it's going to be cold, it should at least snow too cuz it's pretty.

then again i like the cold. in the summer i'm uncomfortable and going crazy in the heat. in the winter... well you can always put more clothes on but you can only take so many off. also when you wake up at 5:30 to get ready for work when you've only had a few hours of sleep the cold wakes you up.

It's beautiful fall weather in Colorado right now. I love this time of year. I can't wait to go to the corn maze!

As for snow, it won't snow here for another 18 days. Gotta make sure the costumes are warm.

we got our first fall rain here in LA today. first time I drove real gridlock traffic in the rain. like all but two LA storms I've seen it wasn't a proper rain, just a glorified drizzle.

Still, I remember it was this time (second week of october) four years ago when I came out of the computer lab at 3:30 Am to discover it raining, the first time the weather had changed from sunny and 75 the entire two months I'd been in LA.

Alone or know, I couldn't help myself, I was Gene Kelly happy for a good two or three minutes

Adam

Yeah, I danced in the rain (I even tried to spin around a pole).

The weather here won't decided.

It will be in the 80's one week then the 40's the next.

We've had snow and ice in Portland since Monday. Only good to come of it was school being pushed back two hours on Tuesday. Otherwise, I'm just freezing my ass of here :)

I heard Calgary was approaching something like a 100 year record for cold temps - where's that global warming when you need it, eh?
