Pineapples, yay or nay?

No, I'm not going to explain (other than "do you like pineapples?"). Just answer the question.

For me, yes, pineapples are possibly the best fruit ever.

You can't grab a pineapple and bite into it/pop it into your mouth. Unless you cheat and get those little cups, or cans, or cut it up ahead of time...either way, all of it cheating and/or more work than apples and grapes.

They may not be the best fruit ever, but I still vote Yea. They are quite tasty, especially good in a salad (ooh, or pistachio-Jello salad!), and many people enjoy them on pizza. I don't particularly, preferring the more salty pizzas, but they can create a nice contrast.

About pineapples- if already cut and from a can, they are a most delicious desert. Otherwise, too much of an effort. But I still voted yay.

Pansies, all of you, it takes like 30 seconds with a knife to have a pineapple chopped up and ready to eat with a knife. also, pomegranates taste better and go well with chocolate ice cream.

I used the pronged end of a hammer to get into the one coconut I ever bought. It was absurdly hard.

The people on Survivor are desperate for any sort of nutrients.

oddly enough, my dad is allergic to kiwis! also, star fruit are excellent. The skin kind of tastes like green beans though...in a good way.

I got a special twisty thing that takes the fruit out the middle - just chop the top off, screw the pineapple-thingy into the fruit then pull it out, laden with rings of pineapple.

from this point forward, I will no longer acknowledge your existence. Tomato Sauce-less pizza with a nice puffy crust and pineapple and sausage is quite possibly the single greatest form of cooked carbohydrate ever invented.

Nah uh, noooo. Pizza isn't pizza without sauce. Although, i'm not a fan of pineapple on pizza, it's alright, but never ever something I crave.

As a certified pizza chef, I feel I must inform you that there are many possible toppings of pizza that are overshadowed by a tomato sauce. In these cases I encourage people to use virgin olive oil, as it will bring out the flavors while still creating the necessary lubrication (and adding a hint of flavor itself).

actually, can't argue with the bbq + bacon, but pineapples on pizza just call out for sausage, and I don't really do tomato sauce, so there ya have it.

Actually, I know of a lot of good pizzas without tomato sauce, I don't know, they just don't seem very pizzaish to me. They're good, don't get me wrong, but strange.

And yes, pineapples are the awesome; however so are grapes, apples, oranges (and their brother tangerine)....and a few others.
