Look at what My camera can do!

This was made with a canon G10 the same model camera I have. Of course I don't have the hardware he used to make the stitch together thing, but perhaps I should make a panorama of my room since it' can do that without the fancy hardwares.

The G9/G10 are decent, onlt thing I have against them is noise when you use ISO 400 and above.

You don't need too much in the terms of hardware to stitch a pano, it just takes longer. On my laptop it'll only take 15 and thats with a lot of points.

yeah it's a bit grainy above 200 actually, but I wasn't happy with the manual options on the cameras that perform better in the 400-1600 range. and I'm not picky enough for snap shots to not use flash for interiors where I'd need 400 or above anyway. :-P it's a terrific camera though. :) I bought my sister a 50 1.4 for her film SLR (canon manual focus lens are so cheap) and damn that extra stop makes a massive difference on interiors, even shooting 125.

Yeah, 1.4 really does make a difference. I wanna find someone with the canon rangefinder with the 50 0.9....mmmm...

Samy's once had the canon 50 1.0 on display, it had an insane price on it. MASSIVE lens, a diameter the size of the 400L lenses. :-P I had no idea there were lens made with an F less than 1.0. wow.

I've also got a Canon T90 (manual) for my film stuff. I'm torn between picking up an older hasselblad (which was probably my favorite camera to use in college) or getting one of the lenses I want for it, I've got my eye on the 50 1.2L, the 85 1.8 (or the 85 1.2L yowzers) or the 35-105 3.5 which generally rates out as the best non-L zoom for canon. :-P

Hugin is a great free piece of software that is probably the best to stitch together a pano.
