our own history revels a lot about ourselves and they say by studying history you won't repeat it but we repeat history every day its amazing how clear it is. the great depression comes to mind with our current economic crises we are facing in the united states

Well, there are some major differences.

The first one I can think of is the fact that in the Great Depression, it took a year for the market to collapse, compared to the few days this year.

Harvey Milk (MLK for gays) and Proposition 6 back in the seventies comes to mind in a big way today with the pro-hate prop eight passing in Cali.

Like the thread named "Yeah" in Enderverse books that is nothing but row upon row upon row of smilies?

Seriously. Old troll, new troll, whatever. He/she/it is a troll.

Thanks for pointing those out, Luet.

shadow_8818, this is your first official warning. Do not post threads that are just smilies and one liners. Contribute to threads before posting tons of your own, please.

The Empire thread was redundant and I don't have a merge thread tool, just a split thread tool.

Tattle tales? I just hadn't read the thread yet. It wasn't like it wouldn't have been discovered eventually.

Was there a point to the nothing-but-smilies thread? No.
