So, my Twinny was in my dream last night.

I have this reoccurring dream about how you get into Canada. In my dream world you have to go to this HUGE city that has a lot of bridges and glass buildings where you have to board a boat that will take you across the "boarder". The boarder is this huge waterfall that the boat will take you down (is a super scary boat ride!) and at the bottom is Canada.

Anyways, Alea was supposed to be here and I remember waiting around for her to arrive (no clue why I wasn't picking her up or anything). Turns out, she never shows because she wanted to go to my Canada boarder city to take photos of the glass buildings and such.

I remember worrying because sometimes you can accidentally wander onto the boat and then there is no way off, and you HAVE to go to Canada, and it's really hard to get back.

Then I woke up, and I had a head ache. I was so worried about her in my dream that I was clenching my jaw, which gave me a head ache.
You know, the boarder crossing at Niagara Falls has a big waterfall...

I didn't mean to give you a headache, Twinny! :( I promise, if I ever stand you up, I'll be polite about it and give you plenty of warning. Which may not be standing someone up at all but the point is, I wouldn't do that. Not even for pretty architecture (but especially not for Canada).

It's alright... It's actually been happening quite frequently lately. I'll get stressed in a dream and wake up with a head ache from jaw clenching.

Featured P-Webber: Every single stonking one of you. I can't think of a single one (except for maybe the new lady, hello lady!) that didn't make an appearance or mention.

So we were all meeting. A P-Web summit, if you will. To celebrate EL and Rei's babby.

It took place... on a mountain.

After riding a gondola up it, we all mountain motorbikes or got in various vehicles, were equipped with GPS receivers that showed our paths travelled, and were sent out across the mountain to find where the trio were waiting for us. As it turned out, if any of us had picked the correct path, it would have spelled out the Wee one's name, but we were going off of the trails anyway. We also all had the possibility of crab companions who would travel the trails, although I have no real idea what they were doing there. I did make a point of making a pun about their claws, but several of you, known for correcting things, pointed out that these crabs appeared to only have one claw, and it was huge.

Anyway, I'm fairly certain we were all too idiotic to find the goal, although we did end up having a sweet banquet. zero kept texting me from a six-digit IP somehow, and there was a lot of talk about the big move to the new domain and board.

Featured Pwebbers: Jan, Ginny, Mich, Nomi, about 5 others who I can't remember

It was a post-apocalyptic rebuilding phase setting, small town settlements, though, and there was a major political upheaval about to happen. There was also Harry Potter style magic and some religious undertones.

Once, I grew so angry with one of the adults that I grabbed him by the arms and one leg and dragged him to another room. In the process, he grew an extra leg, which Jan saw and called an act of evil. Ginny approached me within a few weeks of it and suggested I move out, so I took off after thinking it over. Nomi saw me leaving and went walking with me, not knowing I had planned to leave for good.

On the walk, I saw three units being put for rent and as we passed one, the phone rang. I answered it, identified myself, and received a cryptic, yet meaningful, message in response. Nomi and I ran back to the group, said we should consider these three units, even though we lived just a few blocks away, and that something big was about to happen. As a group, we decided to picnic outside the places, to get a feel for it, and ended up mostly being persuaded I wasn't full of it. I called dibs on Nomi as a roommate.

Then I woke up.

You got it! And I don't even snore (unless I'm sick).

I don't know if I snore anymore. My oldest brother once told me if someone broke into our house, they'd shoot me first because I was snoring so loudly they'd find me first, but that was when I was 8ish. I've since asked people if I snore and they don't answer. So, maybe I do? If that's the case, you may bunk elsewhere, no hard feelings.

A post-apocalyptic setting with Harry Potter-style magic and religious undertones sounds like an awesome novel or something.

Helen, I'm here to inform you we were at Kelly's wedding last night, wearing similar knee-length white dresses (isn't that a wedding faux pas?), trying to take pictures before the wedding started, and we got into a cake-smearing food fight. Oh, you were also holding a candle.

I have three or four white dresses, so I am ALL SET. You can borrow one, if you need to, Alea.

We may need just a bit more material around the waist. I am what we might call a chunky monkey from funky town. Otherwise, yes, I would love to borrow one. One day, I will own more than dress-up dresses, since my mom probably doesn't like sharing as much as I like borrowing.

So, strange thing. I had a dream that I pressured my wife into having a kid so I could post in the "Pweb Kids" thread. That was my sole reason for wanting a kid in the dream, and she went along with it for some reason. We had the kid and I posted pictures and nobody responded. Others posted pics and you responded to them, but not a word was said about mine.

That was some strange dream.

I had a weird, weird dream last night. It was not explicitly about pweb, but parts of it were pweb influenced.

I got married to Donny, in my dream. We ended up having three ceremonies. My dress was pretty, white, and had pink roses on it. I believe the dress was inspired by Kelly's cake decorating final. The first ceremony was gorgeous and awesome and the most like the actual wedding.

The third ceremony started late because I had to do a bunch of paperwork, and it was during a normal Sunday church service, and the congregants were annoyed with us for starting late and keeping the service going so long. And then, afterwards, we couldn't find a place in the pews to sit together. And there were mean ladies I was sitting between who totally ignored me when the pastor asked people to discuss something with the folks sitting next to them. And I got mad and was sarcastic and assertive with them. And neither of them actually knew the meaning of the word we were discussing, which annoyed me, but I didn't correct them.

And then, afterwards, I went and jumped into a shallow swimming pool with Lisa, my MOH from my real wedding. Jumped into it wedding dress and all. And then she became this weird mentor-type person and was teaching me to drive a weird vehicle, and then some other person came along and taught me how to drive it with speed and style and then I was in some castle type building, and there was a dragon down the hall that was killing and eating people, and destroying the room, and there were three children, their mom, and me, and I was somehow responsible for figuring out how to get us out. So, I put on a hat much like the Mod Hat picture Noodle showed us in chat one night, and it told me there was no way to get past the dragon, but if I could find a set of jewels like his teeth, I would be able to tame the dragon. So, I went down the hall, snuck into a room near the dragon, and searched. Eventually, I found the jeweled teeth in a cupboard, secured there with screws. So, I unscrewed them and I could hear the dragon getting progressively tamer. Eventually, the dragon and a gnome came into the room when there was just one tooth left, and the dragon was smaller and nicer and told me he liked my dress.

So. One for the dream-interpretation book.

Think that means you have low self-esteem.

And Kirsten, I always wanted to jump in a lake in my wedding dress.

Your dream means you're supposed to go read A Young Lady's Illustrated Primer (The Diamond Age) by Neal Stephenson, asap.

I probably do have low self esteem. I've heard that from lots of people. I don't know. I'm pretty dichotomous, sometimes I think I'm pretty damn awesome, others I think I pretty much suck at everything. I guess that evens out to being normal, but I got the subconscious things like this dream that mess with me.

I think the dream was more about the kid than the pweb reaction though. Maybe someday I'll post in Bob about that subject.

I know you guys would be all over Tony Jr. Pics. I don't blame the dream yous for not posting. That was my mind playing tricks.

Even my dreams wish I was at Portland Pwebcon!

Last night I had a dream where I was in a cabin type dorm room with bunk beds. There was a bunch of people there that I knew, both pweb and non. The only ones I specifically remember are Alea, Helen and Helen's husband. Helen was upset about something and her husband was hugging her. That's all I remember about that (sorry, Helen!). Alea and I were hanging out and Pheeny was there, too. There was a couple little worms on Alea's leg and she said, "Oh, those are avocado worms." They were obviously some sort of Arizona thing that I didn't know about. I said, "Well, maybe Pheeny will eat them!" Because that would get rid of the worms AND give Pheeny something to eat.

Side note before continuing the story: someone was recently telling about this fad type thing called survival bracelets. Well, in the dream, all of a sudden Alea was descending from the ceiling, in Spiderman pose but hanging straight down Mission Impossible-style. I realized that she must have been wearing a survival bracelet and used it for this cool stunt. We were all very impressed.

The end.
