You know what also sucks?

The existence of exes, and how rotten the person you're dating's exes can make you feel.

Especially if you like them. Or don't even know them.

I would have been much happier if my ex had not had an ex. I would also be much happier if my boyfriend did not have an ex.

What sucks more than breaking up? Trying to get back into dating and having other people start to fall for you when you're still stuck in your old relationship/mindset/whatever......that just feels like ass....
occasionally, though, somebody falls for you that completely shatters those walls of that mindset you mention. it's a pretty crazy feeling, stumbling across somebody that can break down the barriers around your heart, even in a time of great distress and emotional numbness or pain.

This is true; but it feels like ass when those people DONT shatter those walls and you feel like you're leading them on because they're obviously really into you and you're not, and you don't want to hurt them or anything....

Kel, I don't know if this will give you any confidence, but I think you're making a good choice in the "never seeing him again".

...that might be because it was a right desision for me, so I'm biased.

*hugs*

good luck.

....

I was doing fine. I thought I was getting better. I'm trying not to throw up right now i'm so upset.

I want to just give up so bad.

I don't know.

I've only got one word for ya, Kel

*hugs*

I know, it's really tough. And I know, sometimes you wonder if the tears will ever stop. And I know, you'll spend a lot of time wondering......a lot of things of the "what ifs"....and that will only hurt more.

I know

I talked to her more last night.

A lot more.

I still love her. And I know she still loves me, as much as she did when we broke up anyways.

She asked if I would ever marry her still......and the truth is....that I would. I know that we both need more time apart before we try and rebuild a relationship...but I still would...given the opportunity

I love her

She still means the world to me.

And I don't have that opportunity...

How do I get over someone when I still love them? When I still lie in bed and dream of the future I used to believe in with them? How do I move on when every instinct that I have is to go to them?

How do I deal with the now 3 other women that have rather large crushes on me when I can't feel for them because I'm in love with her?

...I don't know how.

Tell them to back off and that you need space. If you need to get laid, go somewhere else for it--f****** a woman who is going to make more out of it than it is will just add to your problems.

So she's seeing someone.

f***.

I could cope with this at home, I'd have my bed and my family and I could make it ok.

I'm stuck in a strangers house halfway round the world with no friends nearby.

I was waiting around the school for an hour because my phone was 'searching for a network', I was impressed with the symbolism.

I never wanted to be this alone again.

I'm still so mad at the ex who humiliated me by having sex with a freshman (from the class he was TAing) while I was in the same apartment, I let him waste his money and call me from England to confess his undying love for me at least once a week. I may not encourage him, but I don't discourage him either.

And I'm head over heels for my new boyfriend, who the cheating ex doesn't even know about yet.

A lesson to men: Don't f*** with me.

You should sell tickets, Kelly. I know I'm addicted in a rooting-for-you-but-not-always-sure-exactly-what-that-entails way.
