The "Taalcon REALLY is Back" Thread

Postby lyons24000 » Sun Sep 28, 2008 3:51 pm

Okay, Taalcon (Dave) is coming back after November 15, and we should give him a welcome he'll always remember.

Hi, Taal! :D

Come on, fill up this thread to give Dave something to read.

woohoo, the imminent return approaches.

the thread title is entirely deceptive though.

Deceptive indeed. It will be good to see him again, though, when he finds his way back here.

Maybe you should change the thread title to "Welcome Back, Taalcon."

well there's a lot of options for a changed thread title,

1. The "Taalcon is (not yet) Back" Thread
2. The "Taalcon is Back" Thread (where's Dave?)
3. The "Taalcon is Back" Thread (Dave's not here)
4. Welcome Back Taalcon
5. leave the damned tile as it is.

any other suggestions before someone changes the title?

Taal's coming back? This might be enough to bring me back out of isolation!
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet him, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

"Well...I'm back."

This next month, and the next couple weeks expecially, are going to be crazy busy. But I needed to stop by to see m' homies here at the Pweb.

I will be around, but not too much, at least for the next couple weeks. Life is good, I'm incredibly happy, and oh, the wedding is December 20 ;)

Because I feel like a newb again here, I totally wouldn't refuse a nice cold glass of limeade...

Welcome back!
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

If I were to fall off the face of the Earth for a couple years, would I get a custom title too?

I was beginning to think noone noticed.

I don't know how funny it'd be to give you a custom title, I'm thinking Strip would be the right title. :p Stripper if I thought mean meant funny. ;)

Jebus could be "Queen of Hives" I could make myself, "Alea's Penis Person" or "Hegemon"

I think we could do a whole series of ducktales/darkwing duck related ones since pweb loves duckies. :)

If we stuck with the biblical illustrations theme, Mobius should be Lazarus.
