Cartoon Network Acquires Adventure Time. If you don't know what Adventure Time is, well, then click the link; there's a video that explains it all. And if you do know what it is, then you must realize the great potential for, uh, greatness in this.

Edit: Apparently John DiMaggio (voice of Bender on Futurama) is the voice of Jake? Huh.

Whenever I start to clean my room, it's with a genuine desire to get rid of what I don't need/really want but it always ends with me playing this giant game of Tetris, where I sit and stare and move and shuffle things so that it just looks clean(er).

The original Parent Trap is on TCM right now. Such a GREAT movie. I think it holds up better than any of the other live action disney films, though there is more to appreciate in Pollyanna and Mary Poppins, Parent Trap is the best of Disney's efforts.

the dishes had piled up in the sink all week, I didn't even use any dishes all week long until friday and saturday and contributed a grand total of two plates and a fork and a spoon.

when I woke up I could hear the clanking of dishes. so I avoided the kitchen and let my roommate deal with their mess. Then about thirty minutes later she knocked on my door and asked me to do my dishes. Hilarious. she had cleared out one half of the sink, so I did the other half, even though they weren't mine, and I also started the dishwasher.

I HATE cleaning my room. but it needs it again and I just cleaned it like five weeks ago. :(

Didn't the original Parent Trap come out before you were born? I remember watching it when I was a little kid.

So we went to Manitoba Comic Con today, with fantastic D-List actors like Lou Ferrigno (The 70's Hulk), John DeLancie (Q from Star Trek), Erica Durance and Justin Hartley (from Smallville), etc.

And Kurt Busiek, who is a great comic book writer (who we really went to see).

It was fun and silly - lots of action figures that I'll never buy. Lots of people dressed up.

The best one? A guy dressed up as Supergirl. Yes, you read that right. Supergirl. It was hideous.

Double post!

Happy Canadian Election Day.

Go vote, if you're Canadian!

Has it ever occurred to you that if you discourage people from voting it makes your own vote count more? Well, at least within your riding.

Really? Hmm... the only time I haven't voted is when I forgot that it was the day.

and how do you know what riding I'm in? Stalker.

Well, yes, I am of course stalking you (lovely outfit you were wearing today. Light colours suit you), but the principle applies no matter where you are. The fewer people who vote in your riding the more influential your vote is.

See you tomorrow.

It's an awful sounding 'song' and they spelled my name wrong in the title, but it's all sorts of cool that there is a ringtone with my name in it (and they at least pronounced it correctly).

Also, I think some new posters in the Enderverse Novels and Stories need glasses and/or patience.

When cutting an onion yesterday, only my left eye watered. And it REALLY watered, so much so that I could not see a thing out of it. But my right eye did not shed a tear. So, I had to close my left eye and continue cutting using my right eye. Isn't that weird? And conversely, when my allergies bother me, only my right eye itches!

I have had two dreams involving Pwebbers in the past 3 or 4 days. Those are always a little weird.

Come on Alea, you have to post details to your Pweb dreams.

I'm afraid they're boring to those not dreaming them.

One was about a Con and had a ton of Pwebbers in it that I recognized at the time but can't remember anymore, with the exception of one or two.

The other was just me and a Pwebber, who I remember quite clearly, walking around and talking.

Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for the content of the dream I am about to post. I took NyQuil last night and thus blame and randomness or weirdness on the aforementioned drug.

Adam and Jan, you were lucky enough to make an appearance in my dreams last night. I needed to pick up something from Adam and I chatted with his roommate, Jan, while I was waiting for Adam to bring me whatever it was that I was picking up.

Ha! In my defense, it was 5:30 am Saturday morning and there is only one reason I would still be awake.

It is especially windy outside today. I wish I had a kite; the last one I owned was a Mickey Mouse, 99 cent store purchase, meaning plastic and a one-time use kite.

It's November 11th, and you know what that means! Well, besides it being Veteran's Day here in the US, it means it is 11/11, International Chopstick Day! So be sure to eat with chopsticks for every meal, the whole day. Here are some pictures from years passed!

That's impressive. I can barely use chopsticks with normal Chinese food. I am in awe.

P.S. That was a sweet hat.

Yes, very impressive indeed. Some days, I can barely eat a burger using my hands to hold it. :)

And as we pass through the generations my friend, they only seem to grow taller, and thicker!. Truly! They have to pull a giant stick down the center to hold it together! You must stretch your mouth to it's maximum capacities to consume it! Oh! We know that this is bad for our digestive system, but isn't it just oh so good? They are! Juicy, fulfilling, and such a tasty treat every time.

But now, I am eating an apple.
