Also, I clicked on this video in the end screen of the cat video. It started out Meh, then became surprisingly hilarious, and finished on a rather disturbing note.

Agreed about the disturbing...

I'm taking summer classes. Not many of the food places on campus on open during summer so I've been making my lunch. I usually make it in the morning, but I decided that I'd rather sleep in the extra five minutes so I made it late last night after our company left.

I bit into my sandwich just now only to realize that I accidently left the paper from the pre-sliced cheese in my sandwich. Oops!

I've seen that video before actually. I thought it was pretty cool before it devolved into wtfness.

i had a dream that I was back in AZ and had 15 tigers in my backyard, along with my dogs, and that they were all tame enough to pet and allow in the house. As part of that same dream, someone did all my dishes and I was overjoyed by that act of kindness (serious mountain in my kitchen right now...) until I woke up and realized it was all a scam.

There was also some weird Harry Potter/Hunger Games crossover stuff and Ali was there and I think Syphon was there.

Sometimes I'm really disappointed I don't have as good a grasp on my dreams as I did in college and high school. I could write some pretty funky stories from them.

Do you pronounce it "foi-yay", or "foi-yerr"?

Okay, I'll bite...what does it do?

I really enjoy wearing my regular length socks up and not folded over, because when I look in the mirror when I'm getting ready, I look kind of like an old man.

Uh, why I like looking like an old man in the socks department is beyond me. It just makes me giggle.

Currently, it just displays a list of cards. Once I've sorted out the JavaScript, it will allow a group of people to play Cards Against Humanity in a Google+ Hangout.

Is that a hard game, Chris? I have to admit, I avoid most games because I don't tend to grasp the rules, even to simple ones, all that quickly.

It is played almost precisely as Apples to Apples is played, with a few twists and a much more entertaining pile of cards.

This is a problem. We should figure out some way to play Apples to Apples on PWeb.

Me neither. Never played it or anything. What's it about? All I know is that it's a board game, right?

Help! Wind Swept, I need backup in here! It's definitely not a board game. It's just awesomeness in a box.

Basically every person is given a hand of possible responses, a word, person, place, or thing on cards. They can range from the famous "Helen Keller" to "Up a tree," "Vomit," "Mount Rushmore," etc. Then the dealer draws the card that they're responding to, generally an adjective like "patriotic" or "scary". Each player picks one of their response cards and plays it face down. The dealer shuffles them and reveals them to everyone, eventually picking the one they decide has "won," either by humor, cleverness, or just straight honesty.

It's a pretty good party game, and the variations are pretty endless, although Helen Keller is seen as a trump card.

I saw Wil Wheaton talking about a horrible, wonderful sounding game in the same style as Apples to Apples (a game which I have loved for years now!), called Cards Against Humanity, touted as being, "a party game for horrible people." It's distributed under a Creative Commons license and anyone can print it, though you can buy sets pre-made if you like and they have them in stock.
