I don't normally comment on things like this but that last picture made my wife and I just go "aww". That is the best personal baby picture I have ever seen. It is just so pretty. Past differences aside, You have a very pretty baby, Jayelle. Congratulations!
Now we can go back to fuming over our past differences!

So I finally have a sec to write the birth story of Ginny (which is Guinevere's nickname):
I started having contractions at around 5pm Thursday night, and tried not to get too excited with "this is it!" feelings. By midnight, I couldn't seem to stay in bed because the pains kept getting worse, so my Paul was like "Let's go to the hospital, cause we're not sleeping anyway".
At the hospital, they confirmed that I was actually in labour - 2cm. Hooray.
By early morning I was only 4-5cm dialated, so they broke my water to help things along, since my contractions were really irregular.
I laboured for about 4 more hours, but my contractions stayed really irregular.
I asked about pain meds at this point and the nurse said she couldn't give me nitrus oxide until I was closer to the pushing stage.
However, when she actually checked me, she was really surprised that I was at 9cm and ready to push!
From there, I pushed for about 20 min, and my little girl came into the world at 2:55pm - about 22 hours after starting to feel hints of contractions.
I was told I pushed like a second time mom, which was encouraging.
So, I had an entirely natural birth, resulting in a very alert newborn, which is exactly what I wanted.

Ginny requested a Bunny cake and I searched the interwebs till I found a good cut-up version of a bunny. The eyes and paws are white chocolate buttons, the claws and the 3 are made of candy-coated sunflower seeds and the nose, tongue and tie are gumdrops.
She also requested that it be "Chocolate with chocolate".

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

That's the first time someone else has used my stamp! I'm not sure whether to be offended or honored! (In reality, I'm thinking "whoa, someone else thinks my stamp is a good idea!!!")
