Things to do before leaving for Wyoming:
Put up at least three book/comic pages
Mega NaNo personal write-in
Okay, didn't quite get to these. But I did put up the EG page and organized what I want to do for the main book and comic pages, so that's some progress.

Steph, I really should head over and meet your awesome family, or just go to Colorado in general--it's a pretty place. And head south for a bit and meet up with Alea. Alas, it cannot happen this break.

You need some form of ID (I use a drivers license), and for the kids, it's a birth certificate, but I've never had to show it.

One internship application down, six more to go.

Thankfully, the first one is the hardest, since I can just modify the same essay/cover letter. Assuming I am skilled enough to do that.

This thread has the potential to be quite overwhelming for me...

Things To Do in the Next Month-ish
-Find a place to live
-Breathe
-Buy tons of things to put in that place
-Breathe
-Pack those things
-Breathe
-Arrange for them to be moved
-Breathe
-Unpack those things
-Breathe
-Buy food things
-Breathe
-Start new job
-BREATHE

I may be forgetting some stuff in there. Perhaps I should breathe some more.

Things to Do next year:

Actually celebrate New Years like a normal person - with friends and such and partying and a kiss and whatever else people are supposed to do - instead of staying home.

To-Do:
  • Pack
    USPS address forwarding form
    Change address with bank/credit card
Eat as much food I already have as possible to avoid having to move it
    Finish taxes
Go through clothes I haven't worn while here to get rid of
Book moving vehicle (as in, obtain a vehicle for moving, not get a moving vehicle just for my books)
    Clean
I have about two weeks for some of this but man, it makes me tired just thinking about it all.

Question about that. Do you use media mail to ship your books? Because it free up a pretty bit of space in my car when I go back to Alaska this summer if I could mail my books and DVDs for cheap....

I used media mail to send my books from OR to TN when we moved. it worked really well and was pretty cheap compared to regular mail.

Yep; Media Mail took the would-be price from ~$30 to ~$12 for a 24lb or so box.

I also obtained most of my big 3-0 birthday outfit and turned in my paperwork for a passport, two things that were unofficially on the To-Do list.
