yay!! i love this thread. it helps me feel organized.

my things to do list for this weekend:
-read micro 581 chapter 9 (done)
-reread all 581 chapters for midterm
-copy pharmacy definitions (done)
-read pharmacy notes (done)
-study pharmacy homework (done)
-copy notes for food micro
-finish micro 665 homework (done)
-email prof with 665 paper topic
-myth assignment (done)
-write (or at least start) personal statement (done)
-grade lab reports (done)
-clean bedroom (i had picked up all my clutter, so that counts, but i didn't vacuum/dust so i didn't check it off, and now it's all cluttered again.... argh.)
-clean kitchen (done)
-clean living room (done)
-clean bathroom
-do laundry (done)\

so, this list changed to things to do for the week... haha.

ok. so i'm going to break this up into almost OVERLY simple tasks. because i would really like to make today productive. and i know it will be very easy for me to do a whole lot of nothing. so. in no particular order.


-take a shower.
-do at least one load of laundry (IF i find my metrocard).
-find my metrocard.
-pick all the change up off my floor. (done)
-do my dishes.
-empty my trash can.
-put all dirty laundry in the hamper.
-fold all clean laundry.
-put clean laundry away after folded.
-go to the bank on steinway. (done)
-go to my landlord's apartment. (done)
-clean off the top of my dresser.
-decide whether or not to keep the folding table.

-Buy bus tickets to and from Red Deer
-Obtain transcripts and start planning scholarships
-Choose a field for study at college, between Special Needs Teacher, and Therapeutic Recreation in Gerontology
-Start applying for college
-Teach dad how to use MSN
-Go to Red Deer to visit my parents and graduate from high school
-Visit my dad
-Come back to Lehtbridge

because i would really like to make today productive. and i know it will be very easy for me to do a whole lot of nothing.
That's pretty much how I feel on a daily basis. Oh, college....

This week:
-do my Problem Set DONE!
-finish ch. 7 of Optimality Theory text Done as much as necessary
-do Question Response on said chapter DONE!
-e-mail my second thesis advisor DONE!
-do that stupid library work sheet DONE!

This semester:
-read Catalan Phonology and pick a sub-topic DONE!
-see if I'm eligible for a research grant
-get my research approved by the Human Subjects Committee (or whatever its official title is)
-find out what recording equipment I need for research DONE - none!
-decide on internship placement - DONE!

*sigh* It doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm still feeling stressed because I know I have imperative deadlines.

- Polish boots for tonight
- Eat
- Sit through a meeting
- Possibly teach
- Go home

Rest of the week:
- Pack for the trip to Red Deer at the end of the week
- See if my dad has bought our tickets for the trip
- Reply to the email I should be getting from LCC
- Most likely argue with my mother (i hate her)
- Finish Angels and Demons

- Write a list of things to do for my dissertation DONE!!! SEE BELOW
  • To Do:

    1. Go through my theory. Make it sound. Make it do-able. Cut things out where needed. Employ felt board if necessary.

    2.Go through constructs. Figure out which ones require self-made measures and which do not. Make a list of these constructs.

    3. Go through the list one by one and look for possible measures.

    4. Begin writing a methods section for the dissertation.
- Work for a solid two hours on my dissertation
- Assess the results of the work and then work some more.

My reward for writing this list is that I can now post it. The mother of all to-do lists.

1. Show up at school for meeting DONE
2. Write major kick ass organizing for the rest of the semester to do list DONE (I'd post it here but the formatting screws up when I try that)
3. Call Bon Voyage Travel and figure out ticket situation. Purchase tickets if possible today. DONE
4. Pay the rent.
5. Go home and pack for Fargo -- 10/20 minutes DONE
6. Accomplish one other 10-20 minute task from the big list. Preferably dealing with the electric bill, but anything will do.
7. Mail off phone bill.
8. Drive to Fargo -- conceptualize clients in your head. Figure out what you want to talk about in supervision. DONE
9. Supervision DONE
10. Email Marty
11. If no clients/testing today, then read cognitive behavioral books.
12. Spend at least one hour tonight working on something academic.

Call my best friend for her birthday. Done! and I spent almost 30€ on that call, but it was worth it.
Plan for the weekend in Paris.
Get photocopies of necessary portions of Phonology of Catalan.
Write an outline of my thesis.
Determine if I need a speech sample.
Go to Tarragona.
Go to the beach so my host-mom will get off my ass about it.
Find out when the eff my high school class is coming to Spain.

- Clean out my closet.
- Clip Cat's claws.
- Buy a plug thinggy for my bath tub.
- Go through my desk and *throw out* anything I don't actually need.
- Add at least $30 to savings.

2. Finish Resume
3. Finish Philosophy of Law, Justice, and Punishment Homework
4. Finish two art projects
5. Write one event to perform For Speech and Debate
6. Get a job near my college
7. Get a place and a roommate
8. Go to the Bay area and have fun
9. Take care of myself
10. Learn to fight for what I want and need and then actually fight for it.
