Eat something hot, boys. It'll put hair on your chest...and maybe face.
I ate so much spicy food over this past month for unrelated reason it's not even funny. :(

But seriously, I figured it would be this bad, and thus I have never attempted. An entire family that can't grow decent facial hair to save their lives, pretty much. Not even sideburns for me. But I'm okay with it. I'm prettier without, anyway.

It'll definitely be very satisfying to shave off tomorrow morning.

Yes, Jeff, you are quite pretty without the facial hair. :)

And Shannon, he's a good looking guy with a super fun accent but you know what my favorite thing about Hugh Jackman is? In all the movies of his I've actually seen, he comes across as a manly man but in his interviews, he's kind of the exact opposite. I find it impressive that he's so convincing onscreen. (Is this too girly for the boy thread? Maybe, maybe.)

I hope that when I grow up my beard is as awesome as Hugh Jackmans.

I think my favorite thing he is in is Oklahoma. I suppose Curly is kind of a manly man, but it was still a musical and he got to be total goof at times, which I found just wonderful. His rugged bad boy act is great, don't get me wrong, but I like a dash of goofball here and there.

I haven't seen Oklahoma but this is how he comes across in his interviews! That's what makes his roles in the stuff I've seen so impressive. Dude has range.

But yes, goofy is great. I love goofy, too.

This is about two weeks of growth with regular trimming. My mustache gets trimmed close everyday because that hair doesn't know how to lay flat. Probably, because I don't let it get long enough.

Yes, this exactly! And the fact that he has been married to the same woman for a long time.

I suppose I could riff a list of things that I care as little about as our last week together. Lemme see, uhh... Low-carb diets. Michael Moore. The Republican National Convention. Kabbalah and all Kabbalah-related products. Hi-def TV, the Bush daughters, wireless hot spots, 'The O.C.', the U.N., recycling, getting Punk'd, Danny Gans, the Latin Grammys, the real Grammys. Jeff, that Wiggle who sleeps too darn much! The Yankees payroll, all the red states, all the blue states, every hybrid car, every talk show host! Everything on the planet, everything in the solar system, everything everything everything everything everything everything - eve - everything that exists - past, present and future, in all discovered and undiscovered dimensions. Oh! And Hugh Jackman.

Hey, look. Real beards. :D

Try not to look so happy, Ed. You'll scare people if you keep smiling so much.

I think Brian looks quite good with a beard:

Then again, growing good facial hair also gives him the ability to embarrass me:

In my defense, it was 2:15 am on my way to an all nighter. Plus you know how much I love smiling.

Brian looks like a young, skinny version of my father in that picture.

Seeing pictures of (short) beards just makes me involuntary scratch my chin and neck.... I don't think I've ever gone more than 4ish days without shaving; the itching just drives me crazy any longer.

I could never not shave/trim for a month! I have a full beard, but I shave my cheeks and neck, otherwise I'd look like a wookie in less than a week... Seriously, if I go more than two days it is really bad.

I originally grew a beard because it was so painful to shave my entire face every day. I keep it because I know what trouble shaving is for me and because I like it.

Syphon, I'm holding you personally responsible for that stamp. Whenever I'm making fun of Brian's mustache, he says "well, didn't it get the pweb stamp of approval?" Grrrrrrr, Syphon! Grrrr!

:D

Good luck with that, Steph. I'm pretty sure he's one of the fresh-faced types who couldn't grow a real mustache to save his life. Though, come to think of it, that might make it even better for him to grow it out.

C'mon, Syphogna, pull a Jeebsy. I dare you.

My great facial hair experiment. This is about a month's worth of work, from the summer, when i didn't see the girl for a while.

Most of the goodies are getting up there. You can pick up in the middle though. :)
