I laughed at his link; I thought it was clever. I also laughed at Jota's response. I almost made the same joke.
Me too, actually.
I thought so. I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to tease him. It's not often I get the chance to do so, even if he's just going to roll his eyes at me and think I missed the point, which I definitely didn't, zero so nyah.
I laughed as well, and also thought that typing really small is mildly amusing.
How long can we keep this up?
What, you mean before someone tells us to stop and to gerroffa their lawn?
Stop! And gerroffa my lawn!
I'll only stop if your mom will shoot.*

*Reference!
Well, that leaves MY mom out, she'd never shoot anything. Even in an 80s movie.
This is hard and makes my head hurt.

That's what she said.

I have no idea. I've been debating with myself the past few days whether or not it would be considered an abuse of my mod powers to delete all of their quote and size tags. Or at the very least split it off to the Game Room.

Yes. The answer to this question is always "yes." It would be. If you mean this as a joke, it's not funny. You are NOT a mod. You have admin powers, that's not the same thing. Comprehend this, please.

Okay, guys: What knot do you use to tie your ties? I always use the Pratt knot, mostly because I'm not a huge fan of the half-Windsor and the Windsor just takes up too much length. So what's your favorite? And why?

Windsor. Half-Windsor looks stupid (to my eye, or at least the way it looks on my dad, who always wears a half-Windsor), and I have no idea how to tie a Pratt. Plus, Windsor looks POWAFUL.

I have no idea what they're called and I have my brother help me tie my tie since I only wear a suit a couple times a year and he wears one everyday to work.

(They called the windsor a double-windsor and my pratt looks a little more like the windsor, but whatevs.)

Pratt is weird, at first, because you start with everything upside down. But it's wide and symmetrical, like the Windsor, without using so much material (my neck is 19" around, so I need all the spare material I can get!).

My father-in-law only wears bow-ties.

I always tie a four-in-hand or a windsor.

Four-in-hand for less formal, but windsor for more formal.

i too have a very large neck. i always do the four in hand knot cuz everything else makes my tie end at my belly button. or for a double windsor... my nipples.

then again i don't have a job that i need to wear a tie everyday. and i never have. and none of the other situations that i've had to wear a tie have been so formal that i couldn't get away with a four in hand.

I always tie a double windsor for Chris. He is short like me so i needed to find a knot that took up the most fabric so his tie doesn't hang WAY to low.

Lately always a Pratt knot, symmetrical and easy.

So... Alea wrote something about the weekend before last in the girl thread (or so I hear what I don't go in that thread what are you talking about), so I feel like the guy thread should get the guy perspective on the experience:

I went out to Arizona to meet up with this girl. It was pretty rad. *thumbsup*

So in this month I have learned how bad my moustache growing ability truly is. Many people have enjoyed a hearty laugh at the expense of my lip fluff, but it's all been for a good cause. Any donations are appreciated in support of Movember, and they'll make me feel a little bit better about my 'tache.

Click on the link to see my attempt (I swear I really did spend a whole month on it) and throw me a couple dollars/pounds/euros/yen/rupies/gil/doll hairs: http://mobro.co/PaulMcCabe" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's like a reverse Chaplin. You know you're supposed to grow it over the entire upper lip, right?

Jebus, if it's any consolation, here, complete with just-got-home-from-work eyes and just-took-off-my-hat hair. A full month of sadness and realization and, yes, pity.

I wasn't even aware of this "Movember" thing. My office just did it for No Shave November.

Okay, okay, I consulted my handy-dandy Wil-with-a-beard picture and it looks about the same on the chin, though you do appear to have a bit more on the sides. However, Mich took a different angle picture than you, so it's hard to say with any certainty that you have that much more.

I grew it out this month, but I shaved for my date on Sunday. It's actually a lot fuller than it was whenever I took that picture. I'm missing like a small under my chin and a little around my mouth.

A good beard is hard to find...I searched something like 44 pages of images, too, and this was the closest I could find to something I liked.

Because I do like the idea of beards but I like them to not be patchy and not be Castaway long and unruly. Full but groomed.

Eat something hot, boys. It'll put hair on your chest...and maybe face.
