I hate it when I find something I love, and they discontinue it.

And Toffefee, in the US.

Toffifee? I can totally send you some, Jani. We have them here. At least, I'm pretty sure we do.

No one else did, but I loved Pepsi Blue. There's something about carbonated gummi bears that is undeniably tasty.

Do TV shows count? 'Cause if so, I could use another season of The Sopranos or That 70's Show.

Also, we have Tofiffee here too. It's wierd how the U.S. doesnt have them- but on the other hand, we don't have Hershey's (except Reese's, which sucks), so it's a fair trade.

Lemme just get Firefly and Arrested Development outta the way as givens.

After that, my Kung Fu school which closed down rather unceremoniously a few years ago.

A few old models, which are of particular annoyance because they have to be in boxed condition if I try to acquire them anyway, because otherwise, it's just pointless.

A candle. I wish I knew what the name of the company was or even just the name of the scent, but I don't. I know it's water themed (scent name) and the candle itself is a dark-ish blue...but when I bought the only two I'll likely ever have, I ripped the sticker right off from it because it seemed tacky to leave the price on it.

I haven't actually used either yet, and I probably never will unless I can find the candle again. I'm not holding my breath, I've been searching for years.

It is by far the best smelling candle I've ever come across.

Although, in the US, it's called Toffifay (as noted in the Wiki article).

My husband also loves these and I'll tell you the two places we can still find them (here in upstate NY). Cumberland Farms convenient store (in the small, single serve packs) and some Dollar Stores, which are a much better deal because it's the large packs and for $1.

I think you can still get Vanilla coke here, but I haven't looked.

I occasionally crave mini peanut butter cups and twizzlers. You can sometimes get the former here, but not the latter.

Rider flip-flops, of the 2002 vintage. I'd even settle for the 2006 vintage.

The ones this year are ugly.

I don't know if it's the one you're talking about, but Yankee Candle's Seaside Holiday was truly one of the best candles ever. I don't even know if it's been officially discontinued, but it has been a long time since I've seen it and I miss it.

Diamond Shreddies aren't discontinued, but I still can't get them here and I do want them. I mean, we Americans are just stuck with our plain square cereals, or ones with other weird clumpy shapes. Where are our diamonds, dangit!

Edit: Oh, and same goes for Gummi Lighthouses. (Except maybe I can get them here; I don't know, and I'm in a hurry so I'm just putting this link in the closest-relevant thread I see.)

I have no way of knowing if that it's or not. I literally know nothing about the candle or who made it. I want to say I got it at Target, but it could have been Wal-Mart. I just don't remember.

I can make you up a special box of "Diamond Shredded Mini Wheats" if you'd like. It'll just have a decorated piece of paper taped over the box :)

And as for the Gummi Lighthouses, one of the comments said that they are sold at the Christmas Tree Shop.

More Dead Like Me episodes.

I had a dream of a new episode and a half this morning. The first one was fabulous. Part of it involved Delores Herbig working out, complete with leg warmers. Then another episode started, only Rube was doing the beginning voice-over and he said that Mason was from Grand Forks. The strangeness of these two things woke me up, and I was very sad that I'd never get to watch the first episode I dreamed again. Or any other episodes I haven't seen, for that matter.

There's another way to lean

There's another life out there...

I WANNA SEE YOUR DREAM EPISODE!

I really am going to break down and buy these dvds someday...
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Remember when gummi coke bottles had actual liquid in them you could suck out?

Also, Pushing Daisies has helped to fill the Dead Like Me void.

Don't you think that it is bad to reminisce on things we can't have?

Don't care. I also wouldn't care if it was counterproductive as well.

Wait, so you also don't care if it were counterreproductive? I think I might stop and rethink things if wanting things I can't have somehow caused sterility (or started killing people).

Edit: The manga for Outlaw Star (in English, anyway). I wasn't even aware this existed until recently... and it's proving difficult to find more than just a few pages, even via sub-reputable means.

Ah, lay off on poor Lyons. It's just like Dumbledore said; "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live", so something to that effect. I know that's not the case here, and there's nothing wrong with some healthy reminiscing, but sometimes people do get too hung up on what used to be.

But of course, it's nice to think about pleasant things from years past as long as you're not obsessed.

I wish Triumph motorcycle co. made bikes like they used to. The old ones were the best motorcycles ever made. Period. The new ones are, well, they're just not the same.
I fortunatly have the priviliage to own a 1968 TR6R, for those who know what that is.

Also, Who's with me when I say that I miss Jerry Garcia?
