I was talking to my brother on the phone last night and ended up sending him zero's link. We spent a good 5-10 minutes looking at them and then rating them. My favorites were 3 and 27, his was 19.

I assume these have changed; want to link to the images themselves?

And I'm still partial to 1. Maybe the masses' opinion is biasing me, but I can't help but see it as the epitome as cuteness.

I didn't pay enough attention, apparently.

I liked these guys and this little one, while my brother liked these two little ones.

What the heck?!?!?

How is Numero 34 cute at all? Does anyone see the snake in the picture about to eat the clueless rabbit? That doesn't strike me as cute at all.

Eh, why is she still using a pacifier?
Apparently you guys read that as:
OMG WHAT IS THIS TWO YEAR OLD GIRL STILL DOING SUCKING ON HER PACIFIER WHAT ARE AN IDIOT OF A BAD MOTHER?! HER TEETH WILL ROT OUT AND SHE'LL DEVELOP SPEAKING PROBLEMS AND BLAH BLAH INSULT BLAH!
THIS is why I stopped posting around here awhile ago. Not that anyone cares, but all I did was ask a simple question that only needed a simple response and instead you guys act like I was.. what.. questioning her parenting? Implying that I knew better? It was a simple question! I knew she was two, and I thought that most children stopped using a pacifier before then. So sue me. God damn.

Wil, if you do not see why your comment was inappropriate, then maybe you made the right choice not to post on a public forum.

Yes, I'm quite sorry for asking a question that was not in any way offensive or insulting. Obviously I was at fault and I should have better predicted the impact of my innocent question on your fragile persons. I apologize and plead for your forgiveness.

I'm not goign to say much more on the subject, but Wil, you were the only one who got indignant. I actually gave you a pretty polite response for your rude and out of context comment. Someone shared something with you, and all you had was a negative comment.

Have you ever wondered why so many of your posts get negative reactions? It isn't because the world is out to get you, it is because, even if you dont mean it, you very often are rude. You have an attitude and it comes out in your posts.

Asking why a kid still has a pacifier, is in fact implying you think they shouldn't have one. If you showed me a picture of you, and I said "eh, why are you wearing a green shirt?" would you assume i thought you shouldn't be wearing a green shirt? Yes, yes you would.

This will be the last reply I make in this thread to this specific subject.

As I said above, I knew your little girl was two years old and I was under the assumption that it was fairly normal for children to stop using a pacifier by then. I myself was seven months old when I stopped using one (my mother says that when my blue one got old she had to throw it away, and I didn't like my yellow and green one, so I stopped using it). My sister was about 15 months old when she stopped using hers.

As a result of this knowledge, I asked why she was still using one. Yes, your reply was nice. I would have been CONTENT with your reply. It told me that you asked the doctor about it and that she wasn't exhibiting any negative behavior by still having one and that so long as she wasn't you would allow her to continue using it. This answered my question nicely. I was replying mostly to Luet who was then exceptionally rude and made the uncalled for reply.

I never said the world was out to get me, and I do not believe it is. Many members on this forum, however, seem to automatically read everything I say in a negative light despite the intentions or the actual context. My single question was just that: A QUESTION. Not a comment, not an opinion, but a question.

But, fine. You're on to me. I am the arrogant, rude, unconscionable son of a bitch everyone makes me out to be. Everything I write is just smothered in my self righteous, snide attitude. It is all me, and everything everyone makes me out to be is completely true. I was actually implying that me, as a twenty year old with no child, knows more about children than you (which is BLATANTLY obvious by my question). In those eight words I managed to convey not only my arrogance, but my perceived superiority and the apparent opinions that I have of you and your parenting. Damn, I'm awesome. If I did all those with eight words and a question mark, imagine what I could do with a novel.

Here, have a picture. It reminds me of this entire exchange.

I may or may not have posted these somewhere else on the board, but I think they're adorable.

I know this is cheating, but I have a video (sideways, sorry) of my nephew when he was 2y.o. A Sonic the Hedgehog game was looping on the tv and there was a "scary" part that would send him into little baby hysterics. I think it's flippin' cute.
