I Graduated on Friday.
Bachelor of Science -- Computer Science,

My four years have paid off! Now to get that job!
Is there anyone else who can claim to be from the class of 2008?

I'm graduating on Sunday... assuming I survive tonight with the project and the studying. I'm graduating with a degree in linguistics (and if anyone asks me how many languages I speak, I will murder someone).
As far as future stuffs, I have a place to live... that's about it.

At least he is internally consistent, so at least he's not fake, right?
... I guess I'm not 'real' either. Oh, well.
But getting that degree sure is an interesting feeling. It's like when you know you are smarter/better than everyone else (okay, when you know you aren't a slacker), but now you can finally prove it!
I have a sister that started a linguistics major. She currently knows 4 (non-computer) languages.

Slim, your post reminded me of my thoughts right before graduating with my B.A.
I watched the "Wizard of Oz" a few nights before the big ceremony, and these words of the Wizard's seemed to wrap it up:
"Why, anybody can have a brain. That's a very mediocre commodity. Every pusillanimous creature that crawls on the Earth or slinks through slimy seas has a brain. Back where I come from, we have universities, seats of great learning, where men go to become great thinkers. And when they come out, they think deep thoughts and with no more brains than you have. But they have one thing you haven't got: a diploma."
Congratulations Have fun thinking those deep thoughts, everyone!

There's another home somewhere,
There's another glimpse of sky...
There's another way to lean
into the wind, unafraid.
There's another life out there...
