I Graduated on Friday.
Bachelor of Science -- Computer Science,
Software Engineering emphasis.

My four years have paid off! Now to get that job!

Is there anyone else who can claim to be from the class of 2008?

I'm graduating on Sunday... assuming I survive tonight with the project and the studying. I'm graduating with a degree in linguistics (and if anyone asks me how many languages I speak, I will murder someone).

As far as future stuffs, I have a place to live... that's about it.

Congratulations, Slim and Ozzy!

Ozzy...you shouldn't put such threats in your posts. I'm tempted to ask that dreaded question of yours now, just to see how committed you are to following through. :P

I graduated on Saturday. I'm officially a real person, now that I have a degree.

Oh, duh. Congratulations to you, too! But you're hardly real. You need to meet two Pwebbers who are real in order to become real. Let me know when you do that.

I actually graduated in December, but I'm going through commencement on Saturday. (We don't do a fall ceremony, we aren't big enough.)

I have a BS in Bioengineering and a BA in English.

I am staving off the real world by going to veterinary school! 4 more years. Yahoo...

Oh well, real is kinda overrated anyways.

At least he is internally consistent, so at least he's not fake, right?
... I guess I'm not 'real' either. Oh, well.

But getting that degree sure is an interesting feeling. It's like when you know you are smarter/better than everyone else (okay, when you know you aren't a slacker), but now you can finally prove it!

I have a sister that started a linguistics major. She currently knows 4 (non-computer) languages. ;)

Slim, your post reminded me of my thoughts right before graduating with my B.A.

I watched the "Wizard of Oz" a few nights before the big ceremony, and these words of the Wizard's seemed to wrap it up:

"Why, anybody can have a brain. That's a very mediocre commodity. Every pusillanimous creature that crawls on the Earth or slinks through slimy seas has a brain. Back where I come from, we have universities, seats of great learning, where men go to become great thinkers. And when they come out, they think deep thoughts and with no more brains than you have. But they have one thing you haven't got: a diploma."

Congratulations :) Have fun thinking those deep thoughts, everyone!

There's another way to lean

There's another life out there...

I've only met one pwebber who is real. And one who only posted once or twice on Pweb 2.0.

I suppose I'm not real then.
