I've spoken to John on the phone, and I really feel like I've met Nomi--even though I haven't (yet).

I have met Ali and love_sonia...

And I have almost met Alea, and came kinda close to meeting Janelle.

And a few others that I introduced to PWeb, but didn't stick around

I've always intended to meet you, Ali, but now that's less of a possibility

I'm not a phone person in general, or I may have felt inclined to call some of the people here.

Pweb feels more real to me then my interactions with it would seem.

I've talked on the phone to Shadow Petra, EnderCoaster, Fred, Ender1, Edi (who I believe was wolves 2727 on 2.0), Tome, Love_Sonia, Wil, Nick (Samson) and I think I talked to Josh because I vaguely recall him trying to get me to "rawr" during a conference call. And hopefully I'll get the courage up to call a new friend I made from here soon enough.

More on topic, I've met Alea and almost Jani. Someone decided to get "sick" while I was in DC.

On the phone I've been dragged into to conference calls with any number of random Pwebbers. Josh, Fred and Alea showing up more often than not.

There have been a few people I've convinced to join over the years, but none of them stayed around very long.

Oh. And I talked to Kim on the phone. Once. For about twelve seconds.

Oh, and I neglected to mention I've met Nehali Sophia, who lived near me until I moved. We've talked on the phone, too.

wizzard and I go to college together, and had met through a club here even before I joined PWeb.

well I've never really meet anyone from here, but before the whole issue that came up with Han Tzu I did talk to him a few times on the phone. But that was a ways back in the past back when I was on here all the time. lol and back when I had a bit over a thousand post =P

Claire and Rachel go to college about two hours from here, too. At some point, we're going to have to have a meet-up (Josh should come, too, given that he's only a few hours away).

Let's see, i've talked on the phone with Will, Alea, Josh, Nick, John, and Denny. I've been in conferences with Jani, Kels, Chris, and probably some i'm forgetting.

I've met Nick and Will (i'll be moving in with Will in september, so I guess i'll be living with a pwebber!)

Next on my list is Alea and Josh.

I have met no one on the board. My Canadian address is just not really conducive to meeting people who are primarily based in the US. I know there are Canadian users like EL and JL and Zeroguy, but I live in Alberta and they elsewhere and we arent that good of friends. The onlyone who was ever from Alberta aside from me was ti_ama and I havent heard from him in a while.

*bump* I've since talked to one whole new Pwebber on the phone (Adam), and have a feeling some Pwebbers will need this in the next week. Just a hunch.


At some point, I'd like to try a massive Pweb conference call again. I think our old record was something like 14 Pwebbers.

I also wouldn't mind speaking to some of my newer Pweb friends on the phone one-on-one. It's quite the rush, really.

You mean a gathering/con, Chris? Greatly organized or not, do you know how many attempts there have been and likely will be before there is anything of the sort?

I know there's talk of a small west coast (CA, AZ, NV) gathering next summer, though I'm sure anyone who wanted to show up would be more than welcome. We'll see how that works out as we get closer.
