The first of my gemstones set

Postby Mimx » Fri Mar 14, 2008 10:35 am

Wow! Today I got to see the very first of the stones I have cut in its setting; and I was blown away. I just happened to have my camera and data cable with me so I was fortunate enough to be able to take a bunch of pictures and upload them from here at work. I hope you all like it as much as I do.

(I hope the 800x600 image size doesn't violate any rules of this board. I checked the FAQ and didn't see any restrictions.)

Hey cool! Is it for you, or is it a present?

It doesn't go against any rule... but for those of us with slow connections or old computers, it does make us sad that this thread loads really, really slowly.

PS. Welcome back. I really wish you would post more in other places so we could get to know you outside of your hobby.

That does look really neat!

And I concur that you should stick around beyond gem stones.

Wow, that's beautiful!

Nice to see you again.
