Random thought: could it be feasible to rotate several banners? I mean, in the case that there are several that people like. I assume phpBB doesn't have that feature builtin, because I can't recall ever seeing a phpBB board with rotation banners, but you never know...

Someone could program one, like those random quote generators that were going around a couple years ago. I want to say Fris made one of those thingies, but I don't remember. I'm sure one of you code monkeys could figure it out.

Does the .net even need to be there? If you're here - which, unless we intend to start advertising, you'd have to be to see that - you already know it's .net.

People are stupid, and sometimes need help finding their way back to somewhere they've already been.

Design your own logo to go up there at the top of the page. It has to say PhiloticWeb.net on it somewhere, that's about it. Go nuts.

Check the Wayback Machine. None of our previous logos have had .net and every single one of them had Philotic Web as two distinct words, at least before the webmaster stopped giving a s***.

In my mind, it's "The Philotic Web," "philoticweb.net," or "Pweb." I've never thought of it as just "Philotic Web" or "Philoticweb," or however you'd like to capitalize it.

Er... whatever. These are the last ones. The last one is just something I did out of curiosity.. reminds me of a school thing or something like that.

Okay, please forgive me. This is the product of going to bed at 8pm and waking up at 12am wide awake. This is also the product of love for such an awesome looking hand drawn font/picture and my wanting to make it more web ready.


Sooo, it took me about an hour to get to this point:



At which point I was like "WTF is an "ENDErC'S" and here is the result of the next 30 minutes:



Two minutes after getting there I went "Why is everything there capitalized but R isn't?"

Upon realizing that was one fracked up R, I proceeded to FIX IT and remove the apostrophe in ENDERS GAME", or so I thought.





.... while writing this post out I realized that there IS an apostrophe in "Ender's Game" and realize just how tired I now am again. Let this be a lesson to myself: Don't go and make supposed FIXES when I'm out of my god damn mind.





Anyways, I hope you don't mind me making it a little more.. layerific. It's also a little cleaner and logo-safe. I just couldn't help myself....
