Out of curiosity, why do you think that Wikipedia is a stupid website? I know there have been studies that found Wikipedia as more accurate as Brittanica (though the most recent one I can find is from 2006). But, I don't use it in that way. If I was going to write an academic dissertation I wouldn't...

I read the abridged version of Les Mis back in High School. It's one that I've always wanted to revisit and this time read the full version. Great story.

For the male perspective to this discussion: My wife took my last name, and it wasn't really ever a discussion we had. I would have been fine if she kept her name. Especially since one of my cousins had her same first name so there was about 6 years where there were two Angela J___'s out there. I kn...

Bob, Long time. How have you been? Bittersweet weekend this. Celebrating my brother-in-law's birthday with a fishing trip. I'be been on this trip before and it's always a blast. The problem lies in the fact that this is the first trip we've been on here since Gary died. Memories are thick. I never w...

I'm mildly annoyed at myself. I remember this being one of my favorite threads when I used to did come here. If and when you read PKD you need to come prepared to have your mind messed with. Probably start with Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Especially if you've seen "Blade Runner" It's similar, but at the same time different. PKD has lots of stories that have been made into movies, but of ...

Oh and I'll probably play Deus Ex at some point. I remember liking the first game a lot, but it's been so long that I don't really remember the plotline or what was so great about that game.

Not to mention Bioshock. Love that franchise.

I've been playing Starcraft 2 for my RTS fix. Team Fortress 2 for my FPS fix, Portal 2 for my puzzle solving fix, and Field Runners HD for my smartphone gaming fix.
