Not at all. Bruddah Iz was a genius.

Also, G D, I play guitar, piano, violin, and flute. But I don't actually have either my violin or my flute here with me in Newfoundland, and we don't have a piano either.

Performance without Anxiety

Jayelle gave me a ukulele for an early birthday present, and although I play other instruments, there's just something about this one that makes me want to make silly videos of myself. So. I'm going to post videos of myself playing the ukulele, and I will take requests of what to play next. Hopefull...

The more I think about it, the more the death of the only black guy angers me. The inspiration for X-Men is the Civil-Rights movement. Mutants are symbolic stand-ins for black people. But the movie, which makes this connection really unsubtle by being set in the 60s, perpetuates exactly the racial p...

EL, my supervisors have always been very accommodating and understanding. I try to give lots of notice when I know something is coming (like Jan's due date for example), but I've never had any trouble. Your mileage my vary, however.

Hey guys, did you know that there is a Canadian election going on right now? And the vote is on Tuesday!? And it looks like the NDP (a, by American standards, very left wing party) will be the official opposition and might even win!!? For a lot of its history Canada has had a de-facto two party syst...

I'm not a physicist, but Uranium 235 is naturally radioactive, which means it decays at a slow rate by shedding neutrons. If you have enough Uranium 235 gathered together to create critical mass, then the natural decay splits one atom which sheds neutrons at a faster rate, splitting more atoms as it...

I've been paying pretty close attention to the situation, especially in Egypt. Not to be flippant, but my opinion right now is pretty much: "Whoa! Crazy!" I think government should come from the consent of the governed, and sometimes that point needs to be made dramatically--but I'd rather...

locke, you are entitled to your opinion of Narnia, but I think you're putting your finger exactly on a major problem of Hollywood as it currently exists.
