Re: The Obligatory Buffy thread
So I am now a couple episodes into season 2. Here are some random thoughts. Again, spoilers below. I don't know if it is the acting or the writing, but the dialogue between the crew is much better. It seems more natural, even though it is wittier and awkward at times. It just feels more like these p...

At least my Fantasy team won its playoff game. On to the Championship next Saturday. Hoping Santa brings me a Fantasy League Championship under the tree! Ditto for me. I have no idea how I find myself in the championship. My team has stunk out loud for the majority of the year. I snuck into playoff...

Re: The Obligatory Buffy thread
I finally started watching Buffy. I have watched some episodes before and I've seen some of Angel. But the Mark Watches link pretty much inspired it. I read all of his Avatar reviews and it was awesome to read his thoughts knowing nothing about the series. He really had a lot of the same thoughts th...

Just watched the first episode of 24/7. I love that the Flyers are on it this year and that I get some behind the scenes on my favorite team. It is pretty awesome.

http://tebowing.com/ This site makes it all worth while. Tebow reminds me of a smarter version of Vince Young with a worse arm. Vince was praised for his ability to win games despite everyone agreeing that he didn't have the skills to be a good NFL QB. We all saw how it ended for Vince in Tennessee...

In my defense, it was 2:15 am on my way to an all nighter. Plus you know how much I love smiling.Try not to look so happy, Ed. You'll scare people if you keep smiling so much.

This is about two weeks of growth with regular trimming. My mustache gets trimmed close everyday because that hair doesn't know how to lay flat. Probably, because I don't let it get long enough.

I am definitely on the "he has some explaining to do" side of things. I could see it going three ways. 1) She was in there before they got there, Hershel knew and he didn't tell him. Obviously, people who have been victims of bites have been brought there before. His first words when Rick...

This. One thousand times this. However, if you gave me the freedom to change ANYTHING about myself, I'd pick neither of those. I'd pick my procrastination problems.
Otherwise, I would go with looks. I am pretty okay with both my looks and intelligence, but you can always look better right?

I am coming out of the shadows to throw my recommendation for Avatar too. It really is amazing. Anyone I have ever told to watch it has loved it. You can get through the entire series rather quickly. Like JL said, great to binge on. It is also very re-watchable! Whether you catch a couple episodes o...

Bob,
I just had an amazing weekend in the mountains with some amazing friends this weekend. I mean, check out the Avatar. But it also made me realize that I need to break up with my girlfriend and I need to do it now. That really sucks.

Any chance we can get a response on this? We have five mods and four tech people now and no one has commented save zero (and his comment was more of a question). It has been a week since the initial question was asked, and nothing. Is someone working on it? Do we have the old content? Is help needed...

As well as it should. Kiwis are one of my favorite fruits, but they definitely do not look appetizing. At least not to me anyhow. I remember the first time I tried one, I thought, "There is no way that this hairy little thing is going to be any good. Really? It is neon green on the inside. I'll...

I set out to attempt to get three stars on each level. I was doing relatively well. For a couple levels, I resorted to looking online because I couldn't figure out where to start. I went to Trader Joe's today (about a 20 minute drive completely out of my way) and they didn't have my favorite cereal. In fact, they didn't even have an empty slot or a sign for it, so I'm worried it's gone forever. What cereal is it? No more complementary coffee at work. I had grown so accustome...

While ignoring the previous post and warning that this will be a spoiler if you haven't watched HIMYM and would like to watch it, they better actually find Barney's doppelganger and it better be LEGEND...wait for it...DARY!

:grumble: I am still trying to catch up on HIMYM. It is a long, albeit funny process. I will say that I fit in the category of people who should love the Ewoks, and yet I don't. The Ewok backlash still shocks me. I wasn't around when the originals were released, but I didn't know of the hate, hate, ...

Since I go on two annual trips that venture into Canada, my family has a running joke that I am always in Canada. They are shocked when I am around and not in Canada. Davis was truly a pioneer for NFL owners and his passing is surely sad. But speaking from a pure football perspective and meaning absolutely no disrespect to an NFL Hall of Famer or his family and friends, I think that this helps the Raiders franchise football wise. I think Davis did more harm than ...
